  1. The billets will go straight on the boiler, once seasoned, that will be mostly pop and softwood. The stuff that I then put through the posch will go in the kiln and be retailed.
  2. No, I'm thinking the part in your picture, shim between the bracket from the stop bar and the part that clamps it, if that makes any sense at all. But shims at the top will also help.
  3. I'm going to put the billets through a posch 300.
  4. Yes got the single, 4 way and 6. Yes timber such as beech and sycamore I'll stick with the 4way with table, much less waste, the 6way should be good for pop, ash, etc.
  5. Very nice, whats the reason for the bucket being slightly offset???
  6. Yes 30. I had one about 8 years ago, I never found a lump it would not split. The comfort table on the blade is such a good idea, imo.
  7. I think you need to shim it so there is more purchase.
  8. Thats what we do on the Schiesling I know I've overdone it when I see my lad having to kick the bar to reverse the rollers
  9. I pass Gibson's most days, if you like drop me the serial number I'll call in a see what they say .
  10. Do you have some kind of deck/table to feed the splitter? I've been splitting big rings, its pretty back breaking:thumbdown: I've ordered one of these, I'm sure its going to be easier, plus its Ideal for the billets for my boiler. [ame] [/ame]
  11. Are they the same as the 400 blades?? Look the same, could you post dimensions please
  12. Would breaking it down on to processor size on a large horizontal splitter not be better??
  13. Nice try, you can't fool me Jonny
  14. You sure if for your daughter Jonny??? Your not a secret Brony are you???
  15. Thats a huge increase Once you start loading large trailers does the compaction of the chip at the bottom start too reduce the volume again??
  16. £50K for the trailed version in the video or a static model??
