  1. Bearing factors measured it up and looked in their catalog but could not match it. Apparently there are no meaningful reference numbers on it

  15. Eucalyptus really opens up when drying, I had some rings that were left in the sun, they got huge splits in them.

  20. Not sure I could cope, midges seem to really like me and my eyes and lips swell once bitten, not good How do the sheep cope? do they get badly bitten???

  22. Nice clean straight timber can be almost a pleasure to split by hand, but it does not take many twisty, knotty or stringy bits to really sap your strength, IME.
