  1. Thanks for all all the input boys, I never expected so much excellent information
  2. Many buy by volume rather than weight, for this very reason.
  3. Your a gent!! thanks mate
  4. Really, didn't know that.
  5. Cool, would be interested if anyone can tell me whats needed
  6. I got some Magnetic trailer lights, to replace the original lights that I keep smashing. Never had LED lights before, they seem very good, however the second green light that displayed on the dash to show the trailer indicators are working does not eliminate. I guess this is down to insufficient voltage demand due to the LED's. Not a huge issue, but it was nice to see the light and know the trailer indicator is working.
  7. I always find them a little depressing, like a tomb stone to a once majestic tree.
  8. That looks like a fantastic machine!! Are they very expensive??
  9. Up here in the northwest I can't say I've seen any.
  10. Those new arms don't look particularly strong, are they rated highly enough for a mog linkage?
  11. :001_huh:Calm down dear. What is accomplished by identifying more diseased trees? Action should only be taken once they are dead, or trees with the ability to survive will be lost.
  12. Looked like a beautiful spot!!!
  13. Using the crane like that is going to result in someone getting hurt and the crane damaged, IMO. Here an old thread show us removing a Horse Chestnut with our hiab http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/video-forum/10576-hc-removal.html

    wow!!!

, Have you seen Mrs Slocombe's pussy??? "I'm free" Takes me back to my grandmas settee 40 years ago
  15. I am aware of all this, just don't see why Birch should have been singled out as one not to pollard??? Lime has to be one of, if not the fastest rotting timber. Most trees will decay to some extent and will have weak attachment of the new growth, this is why pollards must be maintained.

    wow!!!

    Can you relate???
  17. I've done plenty, don't look much crapper than most pollards, IMO.
