  1. You have completely lost me jon:confused1:
  2. Jon this is a discussion forum, were people are expected to express an opinion, that's all I have done.
  3. You have completely missed the point, if it were just "this thread" there would be no issue, it's the fact that this is one amongst 100's:001_rolleyes:
  4. Good man Tommy, however with that tittle let's hope there's no pic's
  5. :congrats: The internet is a very strange place, just try reading Treesurgeons Banter on Facebook WTF :confused1:
  6. Wow!! So if someone expresses a different point of view too you it should be settled with violance???? Little wonder you have done time.
  7. Yes you are popular Jon which is great But you will not often hear from those who are irritated or even turned away from AT by you, people are generally to polite to tell others they are irritated by them, they simply avoid them. The fact that Mesterh made his posts should at least give you pose for thought. Why not simply start a thread and add to it, as Paul has?? As I said, you will always hear from those who love you, but may never hear from those who dislike you, maybe give those a thought from time to time No offence intended, but you may be a Marmite guy, so love you, some not so much, those who dislike Marmite don't appreciate it be pushed into their faces.
  8. Drop her double quick, life is far to short for this sort of nonsense. Edit, stubby beat me.
  9. We had a great time at the Sherwood one, but boy did we burn through some cash!!!!!!!
  10. Absolutely I've done the same myself in the past But I doubt there are not enough people doing that to book up all the local accommodation, I was not having a go at the show, just saying I think there will be accommodation for those who need it, IMO. Most people will travel to the show and back in the same day. I may well be wrong.
  11. No I'm not going, are you not taking him???
  12. Not sure about that, its hardly the APF, its a very small show easily got round in a day, I'm not sure that many will be staying over.
  13. Its funny how we are all different I much prefer domestic work, personal contact with the end user, tea, coffee, cake, genuinely appreciative customers who are often amazed at what we can do, bank transfer at the end of the job Commercial work is often (to quote another member re firewood) "Doing the unprofitable for the ungrateful" Muddy sites, other men and equipment often in the way or breathing down your neck. Jumping through ridiculous H&S hoops for some clueless pen pusher. And then after all that your waiting weeks or months for the money, NO thanks!!!
  14. Cheers, I"ll take a look at that
  15. If your wanting Royal wood I would imagine Harrys your man, but I'm pretty sure your not his type
  16. Surely it would be pretty easy to modify. Or change to vegy hydraulic oil, may need to change some seals.
  17. Re: What's the best way to put the Telegraph posts in the ground?? Fat end first, I would say.
  18. Arborisk are excellent, well worth a call, IMO
  19. Also, Flymo - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
  20. Wouldn't have sounded as tough then though, would it
  21. How do you cope with fire wood? One of the things I like about tree work is the variety, most jobs are a day or less, so always moving site. I would have thought landscaping gets pretty dull and your stuck on the same site for days or even weeks
  22. I only do trees.
  23. What do those clients look like??
