  1. i have 66 dogs on my 441. they just bolt on in place of the old ones. if you go to your local stihl dealer they should be able to sort you out with some. they were about £12 I tinhk for the pair of them.
  2. have you got a new truck to transport your mewp? thought you had a renault thing? Good job too.
  3. very odd......
  4. there seems to be alot of scams like this at the moment, there is another one for swindon schools apparently. same thing but its meant to be for educational use. complete scam aswell.
  5. i have had that from vodaphone, i proceeded to tell them i do not have a phone contract so i am not entitled to one, when she said that doesnt matter, i hung up.
  6. like has been said, all down to preferance. i prefere stihl as they just seem to cut better imo. but husky's are good saws. try them both out and see which you prefere . 357xp is about the same as a stihl 362. both run on 15" bars they are excellent saws.

    Which one?????

well in that case the 130 seems to be winning, does anyone know where i can get a tipper or just a chassis cab?
  12. Adam

    Which one?????

i do go offroad , but i can get away with not having to as much. it would just be good to have the option there if the job arose. so its between the transit and the 130 ithink...
  13. Hi all, i know this question comes up again and again, BUT...... out of these vehicles which would you reccomend the best for tree surgery, Landrover 130 tipper Iveco daily tipper Ford transit tipper. i know the landy is slightly smaller than the 2 3.5 tonners . But the 4wd would be a good addition and as i have a landrover already i know what im getting. however the transit seems to be king among the smaller vans/tippers and i have never used one . so anyone with one pros and cons would be great. and the iveco i belive is very simmilar to the transit. as for budget , it will have anything up to around £8000.00 Thanks for you help.
  14. hope it all goes well for you and em will. i have had will help me out on a few jobs and would reccomend him. he doesnt moan about a job no matter how rubbish it is. Just does what he is told to do and is a very easy guy to get on with. all the best mate.
  15. oh i know warm are like £2k haha. i was on about one of the superwinches.
  16. haha if i had the dosh for a warn i would . £500 for a winch seems steep and its only dreaming at them moment, got to get some more usable kit first.
  17. that made my day......then ruined it. very good though.
  18. i am finding this, i had a flurry of work before the holidays started, im down to 6-7 jobs at the moment which is scary......... and they are all spaced apart too. i have a whole week off in august at the moment. not good atall.
  19. thanks, now i have seen they have superwinch and that on their too i am very tempted by them.....
  20. what winch did you get? looking at getting one for my truck.
  21. I have dropped a few leaflets off today, mine look professional in my opinion and also in the opinion of my customers who i have recived work from due to the leaflets. I dont see them as a problem as its just getting your name about, mine have my phone numbers (landline and mobile), services, information about qualifications and insurance and my website. however i never bombard one area with hundreds of fliers. i will only do say 20 houses in an area. but i can also see why people dont like doing it.
  22. i wouldnt reccomend one, we used one once and it was absolute rubbish. spent longer trying to get the stuff in the machine than cutting. not sure who else on here has one though. maybe someone with a wee chipper on here may be able to help you out.
  23. ok thank you.
  24. im toying withthe idea of getting one of these wee chippers, like the look of the greenmech one..... i cant find a proce for one anywere, could anyone who has an idea of price let me know please?
  25. i just liked you facebook page in the hope you will like mine back haha.
