  1. i think im running out of houses to flier haha. i will just have to carry on and hope something comes of it. problems of owning a buisness and only being 20. ahh well. hope it picks up for everyone.
  2. 3 days a week. im lucky to be getting 1 day a week at the moment. thats how bad its got. but i dont have many overheads at the moment luckily. Free tree reports?? thats mad. probably not insured to do so.
  3. i havnt dropped my prices much, but its jhust so quiet at the moment and after my next couple of jobs im out of work.......nt good atall.
  4. Just wondering if its just my area or what. the phones have been quiet for a week or so now and i have a few days untill the end of next month. im really starting to worry as people seem to be just not having tree work done. i have even dropped my prices !! anyone else experiencing this?

  8. i dont know if many of the guys on here will have had much in the way of experience with these saws... However aslong as both are from a reputable company like you have said then they should be perfect for the job. best bet is to get the saw which you dealer does and/or you feel you get the best service from. I personally prefere stihl over husky but its an age old debate that we wont bring up again. hope this helps. both saws look pretty good and im sure both will be built to a high standard.
  9. hi flex. most comfy trouser i have worn. curently wearing sip freedoms and also have strech airs. neither compare to the hi flex in comfort.
  10. WHAT! that a bit out of order of the other company. its guys like that who make it impossible to make any money out of this job as you constantly have to trim the prices down.
  11. there is also the national certificate in arb which is a recognised level 2 qualification. you may also want to concider the ND in arb which is a level 3 qualification. arent their still the 10 week courses about aswell?
  12. by approximate volume. customers dont like it too much as said. but no weigh bridge near me.

  16. BUT.....you can claim back the cost of your tools, fuel ppe ect from your tax bill as buisness costs. you dont need to be VAT reg to do that .
  17. but it also makes me think im in an f1 car when i get in anything but a landy. they feel so low down haha.

  19. haha, its all money though, the baby landie has done what i want it to do for the past year. and its a bit of fun aswell, wouldnt want to take a 130 tipper green laning, might scratch it.

  22. here is my landy as it is for the moment. thinking of selling and getting a 110 or 130 tipper..... unsure about it though. i have had it for about a year, x reg td5. plenty of bits bolted on and decat and straight through middle pipe makes it sound like a monster
