  1. So whats going on with this? I saw on facebook some guys standing in a field seemingly captivated by some bald bloke in tight trousers explaining various high street quality camping items. All very interesting stuff.Was their an Airsoft "Battle" as part of the selection?

You have to have public liability insurance and private medical if you are a foreign contractor.thats after you have registerd your self on udi.if you end up in the hospital with a work related injury you will get billed otherwise.same goes if you crash a work wagon.best advice I can give is to call skattetaten tomorrow tell them your story and beleive only them.

Sounds like your working for Akrobat: You need to be saving 30% of your earning for tax if you are,you also need to pay this every three months,as well as the 25% VAT.In addition you need to be carrying public liability insurance as well as personal medical insurance.The VAT and income Tax will need to be calculated by an accountant really.Decent Accountants start at 700Kr per hour.
  7. I used one from new.It chipped well but things fell off it and it was pretty lightly built. Then the Starter caught fire and we nearly lost the machine up in smoke.
  8. Understood. I was reffering to the the suggested method of having a log attached by a Tail rope to "Brake" the decent of a Large Log. Sounds like a made up technique to me,or a opportunity for the drag to roll into the Tail Rope and have everything end up in a tangled mess. But then again I have never worked in the Huge Old Growth Forests of Wales with 120 Foot Skyline Yarders boasting 900Hp,Spanning half a Mile and pulling 20 Ton per turn.   22. Not really mate. We get to stand around alot,have Tea breaks,sit in the nice Truck Cab between jobs.We are out for about 8 hours a day,actually work for around five. Anyone who thinks that this job is "incredibly physically demanding" is a bit of a "Noddy" or has just left School/Home/The Post Office.
  23. Not that fit.Its not Special Forces for FFS. IF you have the drive to do the job,you will loose the weight you need to loose.Its not a particularly difficult or dangerous job.
  24. A 25" Bar on a 461 will put it into an early Grave if used too often. Is there really much you cut over 40" in diameter?If the answer is no,then put a 20" on the 461.
