  1. get a pantin!!
  2. It's never the cat your saving, it's the worry of the owner your saving as they hear there cat crying in distress in the tree. I'm no cat fan but I totally get why people pay me to help get the cat down. And most times the thing jumps just as your about to grab it anyway..
  3. Um, tell em the cost and offer to do it??
  4. Choke rope with bowline and use a rig/ d4/ id style device is my preference on ookes or palms.
  5. Your totally right Marcus
  6. We just wanted to do it and just made sure it happened bro. It's good fun organising a trip yourself and seeing what it takes logistically. We have quite a bit being planned for later this year and 2015 so drop me an email sometime. good luck with everything buddy.
  7. Cheers bro
  8. Brachiator- what is your real name? I'm in Auckland, would love to meet up to discuss this terrible travesty in endangering peoples lives.not. Seriously, this is possibly the most ludicrous post I've ever read!!!!!!!

  11. jokes are jokes, as you were mr bolam.
  12. nice one bro!
  13. i used to use a leather treatment designed for boots with a goretex liner- no idea if it made any difference at all...
  14. You need the spacer. I'd get the rig pinto purely because once you start srt climbing you can use it as a lightweight rigging pulley
  15. perfect for exploration missions from what i hear from a few friend that have used it. not really a working line as too thin for everyday use and not legal in most countries for that use.If you like it then awesome
  16. yes, faltheimer is more expensive but quality costs.
  17. nope. id just use a low light filter. i seriously cant justify the black. if its low light enough to use the low light mode-its going to be crappy in our work.
  18. I've absolute zero issues with using an alloy crab bro, but if steel makes you feel better, then use steel.
  19. For ascents without hazards- bees, hangers etc it's a real quick access system for sure bro. I just don't like that your stuck in that system with no quick way of exiting if you had too. I watched my anchor point start snapping out a few years ago as I was ascending, stopped and tried to down climb on croll n hand ascender but was painfully slow. Then the anchor point totally snapped out. On a RW I could of just bailed out no issue..
  20. Hey bro- invert on the camera menu is the way to go. Trouble with using the remote or iPhone to control it is that it just kills the battery/ recording time to nothing. I've for the lo pro mount but I actually think the one in my pic is just cobbled together from various attachments!! Only just realised
  21. I'm against for treework bro. I think any system we ascend with should allow us to descend without any changeover. Just my personal opinion though
  22. I use 11mm Kernmaster but I think any would work bud
  23. No problems:)
