1. id be happy with that if it retains the tree rather than removal
  2.
Hey bro- I've gotta say that if your based in nz, try and support your nz supplier ESP if you go to the shop to try stuff etc. but ultimately it's your choice. Treetools have supported me massively when ive been in nz, TreeStuff have supported me on projects outside of nz

Hey bro, I'm a contract climber so don't really work for any one company. Have a look at trademe for arborist posituons( should be heaps) I think visas are a lot easier if you get it done before your 31.... Try Treescape for positions in Auckland- they do a lot of heli and crane work. Asplundh generally does smaller city work.

It's 12 yrs since I did a visa application so I'm sure it's changed a lot since!!

Good luck bro, see ya when you get out here <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/smile.png" alt=":)" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

  12. Ah, okay then! I'm just dealing with it at the moment due to transporting ActSafe powered ascenders that's all.
  13. Average house price in aucks is $630 000. No, Auckland is a very expensive city to live in. Auckland wages are higher but it's still a killer expensive place
  14. getting a dangerous goods license means exactly that. it will go on a specific non passenger plane-i didnt mean turn up with a used engine and wave some paper to get it on board. plan ahead and virtually anything can be flown.
  15. Dammit will, no one was supposed to know!!!
  16. $10 a pint in Auckland
  17. even if the engine has had fuel its still not an issue-you can transport under a dangerous good license permit. its how used engines are flown all over the world. its seriously not an issue

    Kauri measure

41.3m tall, 10.2m at the base and no taper for over 16m. Only about an hour trek to it from road and it has no special status - hopefully that may change
  20. A little bit of gopro in the kauri tree..
  21. Gemmells is the one, as Ian said. It's on symond st nr the top, cbd.
  22. They may still be fixable by a good cobbler. I wore mine on the same place by using my foot to scrape the floor near the chipper ie like a rake!!
  23. Yeah I'd say go with the protos- best I've ever worn.
  24. I'd say the careers $$$ was pretty accurate.
  25. I'm based in nz but I'd be keen
