I used to big into golf when i lived in Dubai and the Middle East, problem is if i want to play now it is more for fun and like to go with the lads and have a few drinks, because we do this we get looked down on and i have therefore been put right off..... Did enjoy watching an idiot in full pringle at Dumfries services practicing his swing in the car park with an invisable golf club, then laughed even more when my brother offered him a KFC drumstick to help...

  15. As i see it the user monitors the conditions and applies it to the software. This was a concern of mine but after a chat with Marcus showed it has been well thought of and dealt with.
  16. The prices of cameras you are looking at will not work, to look at trees you need a highly sensitive camera and these start at £13,000.... You then need the software which isnt available to buy, you need a licence to use it and the training to go with it. The software and technology out there is going to be controlled and limited by the company behind it to stop the picus effect of anyone with the money can buy one. I have heard some great things about the system and in the right hands can be extremly accurate and help identify many things that you couldnt before.
  17. Some good seminars on everyday concerns along with working style comps etc etc..... Lots of stalls and demo areas, advice areas for working arborists from industry experts and gvt bodies etc etc...... And of course a nice bow tie/chainsaw pants social.....

  20. I know some outstanding consultants that have been failed on the couse for silly things like spelling mistakes and grammer, so watch that... Have heard it is a very hard and intense course so good luck and will be coming to you for pointers in the future
