GOOD LUCK AND KEEP PESTERING, also ask to listen to previous calls etc..

  6. As above it is defo a buyers market, we have just got a 55 plate mondeo with 45k on it, its a v6 so has a bit of guts and we even got them to throw in 12 months extra warranty, we paid £3500 for it, it was on for £1500 more than that. We put the money on the desk and said this is what we wanted to pay take it or leave it, as it was the first sale of the week( on Sat) they obvisouly couldnt refuse the offer. This was at a ford main dealers, i would try them as they seem to be desperate to sell..... So for 3.5k we got a top car for doing all our road surveys , not bad when i was expecting to pay 6k. Also, know its a dirfferent price range but the local land rover dealer is selling 08 pre reg defender 90 county pack for 15k + vat, thats a saving of 5k on list

  11. With the comment about a training standard, yes it would be good but i dont think NPTC could carry this out as its not just about operating a machine etc, there is so much more that must be considered and taught - all the biology thats involved etc.... plus all the the other little bits etc...... ermmmmm dificult one that
  12. In short carrying out airspade investigations annually can cause prolonged damage but it usually prolongsthe trees life...... We carry out alot of airspade work and although the damage that is caused is not great an anual investigation on a given area of roots is not going to be beneficial healthwise. You have to also consider that the tree needing this level of investigation is already going to be suffering from disease/damage. But....... You can also argue that if we didnt carry out such investigations then the tree would most likely be felled as when we are called in to investigate a tree like this it is to save it not condem it. So if you look at it from that view then what does it matter if you are causing damage because the actual investigation is hopefully prolonging tree life. Hope that makes sense as i am in a bit of a rush. Also remember that if airspading is carried out correctly it causes alot less damage than if somebody with little experience may cause, i see it as a bit of an art that takes time to perfect, one of the main things i have noticed that causes the most damage is individuals rushing...
  13. they were all jonny foreigners and people from the banking sector, they love any thing american as it makes them so rich... - swines:mad1: I did watch a bit, was ok, brings back memeories of superbowl parties with the american expats in saudi
  14. Dogs are a commitment, but they will reward you so many times over, they are loyal, amusing, offer companionship and if trained properly are fantastic.. Do get one but like has been said only if you can guarantee giving it the attention & walks it will need.
  15. I think that people who buy dogs as status symbols should have them taken off them... people who mistreat animals should be banned from owning any more for life and people who harm animale should be given a criminal record, when i helped out at a local animal sanctuary the people who harmed Helpless, Defenseless animals are usuallly people who liked to think they are hard when actually they are are usually weak.... There is a great saying, Never trust anyone that doesnt like Dogs...
  16. The amount of people who say they hate dogs and that they get bitten, thats why the dog bit you, they can sense it, i will go and say hello to any dog, not been bitten yet... i love dogs, would have more than i do if the wife would let me
