  4. yep got it on at the moment but cant get it to accept any map data... I am interested as i can see it saving time fiddling about and adding data to autocad manually.. Think i will probably get it to run in the feild on my toughbook, will save huge amounts of time

  7. Does anybody use any BS 5837 specific software in particular the one below, i see it as a great time saving device but would like some feedback off anyone who has used it or an equivelant before i stump the cash

  9. Friday is the best day in my opinion, everything is well set up and running and thursday niggles have been rectified, saturday alot of exhibitors leave early and it is full of the gen public who get in the way and stop you seeing things....

  12. I think Tim does make a good point Steve, it isnt cool to have these scars and we should be making the point that good arborist's dont have any scars at all... It was a foolish thing to do what Jason did and a H&S inquiry would have a field day. This accident also backs up the general theory that you are most likely to have a serious accident when in the beginning or latter parts of your career. Yes it is good to post these incidents but nobody should be going cool scar etc etc, we should be taking it seriously because if we dont the industry will not advance and still be full of mavericks and genuine individuals/companies will be stung for insurance....

  19. Yes i got an invite but recived it to late to plan to go, shame really as it looked interesting and with us specialising in trees below ground would be nice to know other peoples thoughts.... Any info or talk batted about air spades...

  22. Yes thanks Richard, got a bit close for a while. On sat morning we abandoned the house with flood gates on to go to a wedding and then away for our anniversary, was a bit worried when heading home but all is fine Thanks again for the offer
