  1. Far to busy for fun and as you say matt the Apf is in a couple of months:001_cool:
  2. I think "landscape Architects" should go into the arborist swear pile as language that should be never used
  3. I think BS 8516 is sinking pretty fast Tony so if you dont pos it quick no one will know what it is:sneaky2:
  4. The important thing here is soil type, find that out and we can give better advice. We work on alot of subsidence cases installing root barriers and doing root pruning etc, as a rule of thumb a tree that close should be removed and in one hit...
  5. Thaks to all for the suggestions will include a couple this week
  6. Good tip that antwood
  7. Work Ware will be at the show, they are the importers of the products:001_cool:

  12. Can you still get Merlin bikes ?
  13. A 50 % reduction in one hit or staged Ed, Imo a 50% reduction in 1 hit would kill it off, might as well just fell it
  14. I thought we had a swear filter on here - note to steve to add terravent to the list please
  15. A great tree to make a case study out of, show the doubters what bracing can do.....
  16. Go on then lets go crazy and chuck a good mulching in for good measure. I would leave thedead stem as a monument to the trees past.....
  17. Tree looks in terrible state... 5-10% reduction each year over 4 years, Monitor the tree 6 monthly. Inspect the state of bracing, around stem as tree as already failed on opposite stem around brace. Habitat assessment of the tree, flaking bark and cavs are visable - high potential.
  18. Is that the famous when bracing goes wrong tree, aie picture etc??
  19. Looks like he is smelling food in that pic
  20. I am currently on a get fit quick regime... When doing situps the puppy thinks its great to sit on my stomach and help me out... Funnything is it seems to be helping. Anybody got any good ways of getting fit apart from the normal and boaring
  21. By offering decent habitat away from the house the bats may vacate the property. We have done this as mitigation at several roost sites, worked very well.
  22. I would only class that as maybe light deadwood:001_tongue:
  23. I have used Qtra to save many old trees that have been marked for the chop. That tree is highly unlikely to fail in my opinion, all you need to do is monitor its overall health..
  24. Well Done Mac Right decision in my opinion
