  1. Human design and engineering will never be a patch on nature and that what the good lord designed:icon14:
  2. i Have heard the 3ltr diesels are good on the fuel and excellent for towing... Someone did a fuel run test on one and got 55mpg - think that article was in farmers weekly, and then dont mess around and stretch the truth:icon14:
  3. Whack it on ebay - they go for stupid money on there:wave:
  4. I think they have sorted there after care out now Dean - the solenoid went on the hydraulics, leaving me in the pooh.... They sent someone out to site within 2 hours and fixed it, i was in Bury at the time over an hour away. dont think there are many companies that would so that... Maybe enough people complained and they though they needed to do better.
  5. Nice i would quite like a twincab, mind you i see a different defender every week that i want to have:wave:
  6. If you look at the states everyone is very proud of there faith, not in this country though - if you are religious here people think you are a nut... I am religious, a born again christian. I am proud of it:wave:
  7. They are great, its just finding a good one, mine was ex-council with low mileage and in great nick. Its handy having the 4x4 option as well.. The tipper was made by http://www.autoliftuk.co.uk in bradford its fantastic and excellent value for money would recommend to anyone...

  12. This was a 85ft beech in Worden Park, Leyland.... I came across it when doing tree survey of park, was the worst of 3500 trees:scared: I wanted it dealt with within 24hrs, the pictures dont show how bad it really was - several busy paths went around it...

  17. Blue - and im a northerner - cant stand alex f and also rat boy ronaldo
  18. Yes i have had some success - If they put a tpo on a tree then they are saying it holds some value... If it holds some value it must have a reasonable safe life left. By saying this they are saying it is safe. If others disagree then they HAVE to take responsability... If you take a car to the garage because you have break problems, they say its ok, you drive off and they fail you crash who is to blame..... Hope that makes sense!!!
  19. is that the chipper from mason wood chippers ??
  20. They have not got big knackers - just nuts
  21. Send an application to fight the TPO on grounds it is diseased - unless the council take full responsability if the tree fails, you want to demand aletter confirming this. The tree officer has already taken responsability by saying the tree is ok to put a tpo on it:wave:
  22. I saw a fastrack with a chipbox on the other week - looked quite tasty.....
  23. I went down there this morning on way back from driffield to Rammy , trying to avoid traffic:cussing:
  24. Latin name : Darnelia melitensis
  25. Looks like the Maltese Salt tree - cant remember the latin name...
