  5. If run on red and ag tyres it is a tractor ...... No motorway use and you have to be careful on operating distances. If vosa pull you over alongway from home ( 50+ miles) you maybe in pooh...
  6. You cant really give acurate advice through photos..... The tree seems to have put on plenty of reactive growth around the base and the crown looks reasonable. It has probably been infected for several years, ganoderma doesnt scare me you see it commonly on oaks, they deal with it well with out having a closer inspection i would say 10+ years ( as i say it needs an inspection to clarify) If you pm me with your area i know consultants that are scattered throughout the country and i can give you contact details.. Just a quick question is there any hollowing to the stem?

  10. I will try and find the pics of my fingers i took during the operation..... I was setting a post in place when my boss at the time slipped in the mud, landed on the controls and sent the post knocker down.... it stung a bit...... My boss passed out leaving me to call the ambulance:cussing:

  12. My brother helps with all our air spading, i cant find anybody else that i trust as much.... He is a agri contractor so that explains his work efforts, he also comes in useful for any jobs that require tractors and big machinery:icon14:
  13. You can cook anything in it from homemade soups, whole chickens, stews - curries are good, i did a shoulder of lamb the other week :icon14: lovely..... you can even do fish

  16. Was chatting to a couple of people today about religion etc and we were wondering if there was a fair share of religious arborists....... I know people think its a taboo subject or have strong feelings about religion, but who is religious and who isnt....:wave:
  17. I have been on his visual assessment course, was very good - you get a morning doing tree biology and then the afternoon out looking at trees - you also get a free hammer......:wave: If you go on the course it is money very well spent in my opinion:icon14::icon14:

  20. I looked at it a while ago i think its about £210+VAT AND YOU HAVE TO BUY SOME READING MATERIAL AT £85+vat Its not too bad as prices go
