  1. absolutely cracking saw tbh good for home use good for carving good for general woodwork good for keeping friendly with the neighbours does not smell the car out ideal chipper saw as can just cut that branch with no messing starting really smooth cut also I did not have one:thumbup:

  3. what about writing what you want on the bit you send down and just sticking a marker pen behind your ear or would that require too much forward planning:thumbup: I am surprised your arborcom batteries run out mine cet charged after every full days work and they will do at least 2 days non stop chitter chatter. next time we have em out I will make a point of turning the mikes off and trying to have a discussion using hand signs whilst I am climbing the tree and using a saw:thumbup: P.s the writing notes bit I have just applied for a patent and also for using paper aeroplanes to send the message down is a great way to entertain the client:biggrin:

  7. we run a 17 tonner chipwagon with a big palfinger hiab for the stems but could not be without a 3.5tonner for smaller jobs and tight access. No point getting a bigger vehicle without a bigger chipper:thumbup: the wagon generally makes more money a week but needs to to pay for it:thumbup1:

  13. we have had a 250 since they came out the new model looks even better and they have changed everything needed we would certainly buy another:thumbup:
  14. officially no it is a hse issue as not designed ect also the drive is not strong enough it does work:thumbup: but would not run it long term and expect shaft issues if you do

    I did not think that split tails were advised slings are generally easier, cheaper more commonly found on a harness and safer than tying a split tail

  23. This is one of today's benches please could anyone tell me how to treat it to bring the colour out and to preserve it I have some ronseal clear timber treatment Ideally did not want a shiney finish but could be the best?
  24. It says it is 3/8 and 325 which is standard out of the box
  25. If you was your rope it will give the clutch a new lease of life:thumbup: very light sand with sandpaper will also make a difference. And you pay a lot more than I do for your clutch:confused1:
