  1. To be honest, if I had a decent pair of knockers, I'd spend all me time tweeking them! They are truly wonderful things!
  2. Keep your eyes on the AdBlue! Only use AdBlue and nothing but AdBlue! Check the label before you tip it in too! If it is the wrong stuff, a "G" bill will ensue!
  3. Might take more than two ropes to hold this down!
  4. Waiting to find out how yours go before I start!
  5. Expect an announcement very soon from GreenMech. We will do something as a "last Hurrah" before the emission regulations come into play with a machine fitted with engines that have never been done in it's class!
  6. I don't know to be fair. The 4LE engine still may be produced for export, same as the STC1928 engine. We have stock of some engine types to last until the summer, in fact, expect an announcement in a day or too about a blinding "last Hurrah" move to say goodbye to the current emission engines!
  7. Penultimate CM220. We only got one engine left!
  8. One for Russia, one for Mauritius and one for UK
  9. Blimey! Just noticed the blade and the angle!!! Is it as bad as it looks?
  10. Good chap that Danny!
  11. Dave let them go some while back. Nothing at GM to be had. Think a big box of finger bars etc from previous models got skipped a couple of years back too!
  12. Ben Burgess in Norwich are the current Predator people. The hole centres on the Laski jobs are different from Rayco, Vermeer etc, but it is just geometry and drill!
  13. They weren't fast at all, which, in a twin steer us a good thing. They were really geared down to give loads of torque. Jonathan Turner, the MD at GreenMech, tells me that they used to drive it up the stairs at Smithfield to demonstrate it!
  14. They are aimed at different scenarios, so, as Mark says, not that comparable. Go for something with infeed rollers is probably the answer. If you don't use them that often, why not spot hire when you need something?
  15. I've been a big fan of the disc blades since I ran a tree outfit in the 80's and 90's. I had two of my three chippers had disc blades and that proved to me that they worked! When the square/double sided blades came along, I still promoted the disc blades and if I was involved with a sale, the demo machine had discs! Cheaper, easier to care for, more forgiving, quieter and as Jase says, not so brutal. I once refused to sell a machine to a respected customer because he wanted flat edged blades! He got converted! I cannot remember the protocol for swapping blades about but I do remember something to do with longer bolts a spacer weights.....
  16. Sorry, I’ll send Jase a message! Jade went earlier this year!
  17. I’m all for ditching flat edged blades and going to discs! I’ll send Jade a message too! Seasons Greetings to all!
  18. Got a call yesterday from the garage, went for a test drive and AdBlue issues seem to be sorted but another fault code comes up. Apparently, the exhaust Temperature sensor is broken!!! All done now and I can collect it tomorrow. Bill is close to a grand.....Ford relationship centre getting contacted very soon!
  19. I had five, nearly six good years and they lost the agency. Company policy changed and I tried a Hyundai - capable car but expensive as a company hack. Wrecked that stupidly and got a Ford. Unfortunately, the experience has been tainted and I would like try a V6 VW but they cost an awful lot!
  20. I had a Rodeo some ten years ago and they were epically good, or at least the dealer was bloody good. That did 264k with nothing but routine stuff! At 120k, I took it in for service and commented that it was leaking oil and could they advise on this. They changed some seals in the gearbox under the 3 year warranty!
  21. That's what has been said, commercial warranty is only 60kmiles or 3 years, she is 83k and 18 months on the road!
  22. Try sending an email to Suzi or Andreas at GreenMech GMBH, they may be able to help. Both speak English and German. Good luck and very best wishes to you and your family!
  23. Local Ford have asked if they can proceed with repair, another way if saying 'forget warranty chap!'. The other 63 plate Ranger which died last Friday has had oil pump failure, just like the other two we brought at the same time. They inspected this one and my old one and they both were supposed to be good but both by as catastrophic failure. Doubt we will have them again!
  24. A couple of folk seem to think that the ingredients of early adblue' were, possibly, a little wayward. But, one source said that it is Urea and distilled water in pretty precise quantity, and anything else is 'hidden', and that since I buy from the forecourt or from GreenMech dealers who are also Ag dealers, it is a safe bet that Ford Technicians at head office are being a little hasty! I've yet to see what it says in the car's manual though. I have asked around without hinting at my problem, "what grade if AdBlue does she take?", while kicking tyres of trucks, tractors, 4x4 etc is met with furrowed brows, quizzical looks and outright laughter! "There is only one AdBlue mix!" is the usual response! If you know better Dan, let me know!
  25. I would simply say that, despite their best efforts, your consumer rights have been infringed and that you would like a full refund without delay. You have been very patient and forgiving, they haven't resolved the problem to your satisfaction and while they have supplied a loan car, it is not a fair substitute for the 4x4 you paid for and are entitled too. A full refund is what is needed, don't entertain anything less. Go to get advice from the CAB who will contact the trading standards people. Good luck.
