  1. We have found that the fuel seeps past the rings and fills the sump up if the solenoid does not seal properly!
  2. A bit more info would be good! Is it pull start? Can you pull it over? Is it key start and battery okay? We will try to help but info is good!
  3. Might, might not! Depends on how much you give me! Why three anyway?
  4. The best place would be your local GreenMech dealer!
  5. Just an update on this. I took it a small Ford place that do MOT and have serviced it before. They found a break in the loom to a wheel sensor and cleaned the sensors and the "mega expensive injector fault" was just a ECU reboot with the latest software. All done with the MOT in a day. So it appear that I got misinformation from the Ford Commercial dealer.....
  6. Sturdy rig! Good luck with the sale.
  7. Good luck with the next phase! Hope you enjoy it as much as the last. Best wishes!
  8. I'd rather see POTUS interviewed by the CIA, FBI and Police about racism, fraud, bigotry, tax evasion and sexual harassment as well as being ridiculed for his hair!
  9. I could not watch anything with Morgan in it, a loathsome toad of the highest purity and colour! I think that the current POTUS and his clan are truly revolting too! He shouldn't be allowed out of his country IMO.
  10. The bars have to be a contrasting colour, and stickers applied. If the body is red then the bars are yellow.
  11. I spotted this while giving a Hungarian customer a walk around the factory. Looks like two yellow and on black being done.
  12. My Ranger put on EML and ABS/ESB lights so wouldn't MOT! Booked it in and used the spare Ranger, MOT due on that and it failed with a busted spring. True to form, idiots at Ford in Loughborough delivered a spring without a bush, they couldn't be bothered to deliver bush until next day and even then asked if I would wait!!! Paul Roberts in the garage sorted it out in time for me to swap over to mine which was parked due to warning of imminent destruction and big bills! Mine goes in and the very expensive ABS repair ("we'll have to replace the module") and is broken speed sensor, the "injection issue which will be a grand plus easy!", was a program update! Big Ford dealership don't get my vote! Passed the MOT but asked to get two tyres sorted. Thanks Shepshed Ford! Sandicliffe in Loughborough and Bristol Street in Redditch aren't worth going to!
  13. GreenMech! Owner will take 3g if I remember.
  14. Check our website! One on there! Buy the original CS100! Cheeky buggers at a cheap copy had our tech drawings on their webpage!!
  15. Go for the GM (okay, I am biased, but it will hold value and be worth something in the future).
  16. Anyone had it done? How does it fair? What sort of cost involved? Who did it?
  17. http://www.euroauctionslive.com/servlet/List.do?page=list&startLotId=185&direction=next&showThumbNails=on&x=37&y=12 Some varied stuff for sale here, some bigger 4x4 trucks too.
  18. As Ash says! 130 is the same as the 150 bar the engines and bonnet! The EFI unit is computer controlled so will start pretty instantly, no choke, will handle old fuel better, will alter it's settings for altitude and is more economical than the carb version. I did hear that they can tuned be to a higher output too! Although, I think is more than just meddling with a laptop! The engine guy calls them Vanguard, the homeowner range of engines are called Briggs and Stratton. The commercial Vanguard are as good as the Honda range but the old B&S tag sticks unfairly.
  19. We use a couple of Sprinter beavertails to deliver and collect wood chippers. If I was needing a chip truck, I'd go for it. But, don't write off getting an O licence and getting something that can carry!
  20. Just an update. My local Ford Ranger supplier put it on the diagnostic and confirmed an ABS fault and an engine issue! (No shit, Sherlock!) It wouldn't MOT as the ABS wouldn't work and they wouldn't be able to look at it for 3 weeks. I got to use someone else's cast off until such time it can be fixed.
  21. I had a single wheeled 5300kg Transit on my fleet before I went to work for GreenMech. Just as capable as a twin wheeled Transit and possibly slightly better on grass as the thin tyre cut through to get a grip. Is having an off-road capability your thing? If so, get a proper 4x4 and leave more stuff on site.
  22. As said, mixing the fuels is not a good thing. Essentially, use ordinary fuel and when you are doing the last job, turn off the fuel tap and let it run out. Ideally, don't leave a load in the tank. When you next go to use it, put done new, fresh stuff in and after a bit of cranking, it should be a good un! Good question to ask too. A few machinery dealers who 'winter service' machines either add an additive or point out that if it doesn't start, drain/flush and refill!
  23. If it doesn't have a "No Stress" device, I wonder if it is that old that it no longer complies with H&SE regulations with regards to chipper infeed controls, height and length. I'd check those before spending any money on it!
  24. PM me your email and I'll send that buff tomorrow when I get home.
