  1. I'll do my best to help, 07774 282481 or call the factory and ask for Jason 01789 400044. Best regards
  2. Give Connick trees a ring or Homegrown due west of Crawley. PM me if you cannot find the numbers.
  3. What's yellow and dangerous? Shark infested custard!
  4. The post was about rental. My post was aimed at that. However, as manufacturer I get to hear all the comments, good and bad, about all makes and all suppliers of arb machinery. The term Tinnywolf was gleaned from another post from some time ago, if they use it and no one complains then why do I get moaned at for using it in jest (hence the smiley). I have heard many other reps denigrate other makes and models in front of customers as a way of promoting their own make over the competition. Whilst I just did it in jest, it is not something I would do in seriousness to gain a customers favour. That, to me, would show a remarkeable lack of intelligence and incredible bad manners. I have never complained to another supplier when I hear someone at a trade show pass by saying "I ain't looking at that ****, they over there told me they are pants." I just take it one the chin! One day I might be able to change their mind.
  5. Almost sounds tooo cheap to me! I was paying over the ton 15 years ago! But then again, it's only a Tinnywolf:sneaky2:
  6. Left hand drive and a dodgy tash included! Nice.................

  8. If it wasn't so true, as are other post ref complaining, it would be hilarious. We could sit about all day long putting the our world to rights, then, come the next election we say nothing and vote in another load of prats and spongers. With regards to the banking fraternity - deal in cash only, kept under the bed so that they do not have access to your savings. This "sub-prime" thing, does that mean that my bank now has repossessed most of Alabama? I'm sure they would want my peice of Shepshed if I defaulted!
  9. I know of a fella who powered his woodchipper conversion with a Transit engine and gearbox!
  10. Blimey! There would have been a brown rush of adrenelin from the climber I bet. Nice shots tho. Glad no one was hurt mind.
  11. "blinding" you say Tommer, well I think you may be doing it wrong. It might make you squint about but blinding you, I hope not!
  12. The price of motorhomes and caravans never cease to amaze me. I know someone who paid £17K for a caravan then another £2k for the awning and it lives on one site - they never move it. Yet when I suggested that they would have been better with a static home - it was as if I'd suggested some awful social condition was growing on my arse! As for moving around to view different areas of the country, that had a similar response... I just don't get them, where is room service for a start!...
  13. The kids came to stay for the weekend, Tom is 12 and Pip is 10. We went for a walk/cycle today - just up to the village centre, had an ice cream etc. Everything normalish, no trauma until Pip mentioned that Tom's girlfriend was called Matty and was in his year, then Tom disappeared on his bike. I 'phoned after half an hour to ask where he was. "I'm going to Mum's because you and Pip are horrible to me, I don't want to come to yours again"! He has behaved like this several times now. Is it me or do other Dads get this treatment? I never behaved like that when I was doing the trauma of growing up. Hardly a weekend goes by now without a tantrum from one or the other over seemingly simple things like who chooses which peice of Pizza first or who has a shower first and I'm thinking of taking the front passenger seat out as well!
  14. Give Tony Saunders at Homegrown Timber a call on 07774 447956, he might have it for biomass and travels all over England.
  15. Yes it looks like Castle Morton to me. The clear up after that was a pretty awesome affair! I had an aerial picture of The Monsters of Rock at Castle Donington, you could see the queue for the loos from 5k feet! Remember the last AA at Highclere, every loo was full and rather smelly!

    moving house

Hey, good luck with the move - they can be traumatic times especially when curved balls like BT get chucked at you. I've moved over 25 times in my life and not one was totally smooth. (Before someone suggests it, I'm from a services family not a travelling family)!
  17. Was Ice Age any good? I was going to take my kids but spent most of the time since friday lunch flat on my back since ligament damage caused by a cough!
  18. Send me a pm with the serial number or give me a ring and I'll tell you the known history. I ran a 152 in the mid 90's and it was a good tool, if you need to know owt, send me a pm and I'll return!

  21. The GreenMech Multitask 120 will be there with its 1.8m mulcher which can be made available for hire. PM me if required or come to Ciren and ask for me.
  22. I'll try to be there but the ex has me down for a holiday with the kids! BUT.... the all new GreenMech 6" chipper will be there before its official release at Saltex. Why they could not sanction it for the AA I don't know. Spec is 6x9 gob, Kubota 35hp, turntable, brakes and under 750kgs!!!!
  23. Just came out of the garage fixing my hot rod, found a tape of Booker T and the MGs. Green Onions. Superb!
  24. Blimey, I'm in the wrong job. Lovely scenery and what a back drop. Rather silly opinion tho'. What do you think?
