  1. Cooler here, sounds still too! Another day of calling Ufkes Owners and some of the previous enquiries! Be good y'all. Tote, Aloe, Tear, Yearn
  2. Couple of errands and jobs, looks mild after a couple of soggy days. Enjoy the rest Day. Thin, Her, May, Jig.
  3. We need more sympathetic and willing mechanics and folk who can impart the wisdom of doing things up tight!
  4. Morning All, decent lie in here and she gone for the tea now. Biblical rain yesterday and think my garage is flooded again. Hopefully watching rugby on the box after a few errands. Be good y'all! Handel, Palma, Stash.
  5. I'm told that it was one of many that had issues.
  6. GM sued Jensen. Not for big bucks, but a 'cease and desist '. It took months and cost several hundred thousand pounds. Jensen did it really because Redwood indicated that the Rail industry was largely took over by GM. TW now own the Intellectual Property so can fit it to their other models. The Safetrac patent ended recently but was superceded by the SureTrac patent. Jensen also copied, or so I am told, the Predator grinder off Patrick Watts as he refused to let the British Jensen importer have access to that! I have been reliably informed that Redwood did develope their own version as well as a skidsteer type loader too.
  7. Morning Team, my head is fried with what I've to do and the info I got to take on board with this new stuff. May even have sold one already, will know shortly! Was going out to see folk but that may be delayed as still got ducks to align! Be good today and enjoy the Friday, returning to your families safely! Scoop, Eid, Who.
  8. They had a factory in Poland but shut that down. For a while, some fabs where made in Brum but not sure now. India? China? Eastern Europe? It isn't beyond the bounds of reason to suggest that other Alamo brands could be fabricated and assembled at Alcester? Rayco, Boxer, Morbark but for that 'European ' feel and finish without the transatlantic crossing?
  9. Up and about, getting things in order going through old enquiries for Ufkes. Still going through comprehensive manuals etc Others in the team to contact to see if they got things that I need to be aware of, some of the team have asked for help in tidying up deals etc, some not done anything within the brand as they are too busy with crushers etc. Thought the weather was going to turn but still seems mild! Have a good day and return safe! Ant, Heap, Asti.
  10. In the yard this morning becoming acquainted with machinery. So much info to soak up! For the time being, I am THE man for Ufkes Greentec with Doyle Machinery for the whole of the mainland and likely to be the brand ambassador in contact directly with the factory! Slept badly in the hotel but awake and going for a light breakfast. Be good y'all! Mass, Kaa, Pony.
  11. Didn't sleep much. Took a bit to get to sleep and woke at 4! First day at work for Doyles, anyone want a big chipper? Being picked up at 10 instead of taking a train to London then on to Maidenhead...... Be good folks! War, Tum, Ills.
  12. You'd buy GreenMech as a brand and as a manufacturer! You will soon be able to buy a British built Timberwolf! Similarly, Alamo own several hedge cutter businesses and the Bomford and Spearhead range are built under the same roof but are different machines.
  13. I drove through Axminster several times last week but was returning to Leicester ahead of Saturday Sale so couldn't grab some bargains!
  14. Start of working for Doyles has been delayed as new Hilux not ready so another day of pottering here! Be good folks and enjoy the start of the week. Ticker, Marsala.
  15. Up early as she is doing a half marathon and takes a while to get up! Enjoy your Sunday! My subscription to tnt ended yesterday so missed the rugby, hope get that resolved today! Mined, Liar, Cursive.
  16. Biblical rain on the way to her spot last night but looking clear today. We are resting as she is in half marathon tomorrow, so dog walk, bit of shopping and rugby watching this aft with early bed! Enjoy your Saturday Nell, Son, Man, Dollar.
  17. It should be tight that's all!
  18. RIP Pauline Collins 85. Eye candy for us older viewers!
  19. Morning Team. Still and grayish here, still going about in tee shirt though! Happy birthday Mrs Stubby! Have a good day y'all and return to you families in good shape! Pay, Gun, Writ, Jewel.
