    New Hilux.

Just realised you meant truck! What a dullard! It is a 2.8ltr four banger. I am told it was this years m9del and registered before the changes in tax code etc! Used another tank today and got 21.4mpg. Bit leery at times, especially on a wet, diesel soaked roundabout! Wheel spin and opposite lock. Comfortable enough but oddly, has a stepped gear shift and a manual hand brake. Automatic headlights but not wipers and the lane advisor is nasty!
  3. Just to tie this off, the spigot for the drop link was in the old wishbone but sheared off when trying to remove it. That and a drop link was £120 from Land-rover so, I drilled and tapped the spigot to M5, cut the head off a bolt and screwed that in lovely! The drop link was slotted back together and had a tie wrap secure the two halves! Decentish bodge job but it works!
  4. Awake early again, looking forward to a lie in tomorrow! Off to see some folk in East Anglia, in fact, going to the village we lived in some 55 years ago! Be good today and return safely to your families! Sin, Gal, Moult, Whizz, Key.

    New Hilux.

This is fresh into the country and fitted with Hyundai 140hp diesel. The build quality, fit and finish is damn good and I've spoken to some owners and they tell me that they have been wholly reliable and the performance is epic!

Don't ask such vulgar questions Dan! If you got to ask, you cannot afford it!

    New Hilux.

Out and about doing my job for Doyle Machinery and towing their Jaguar 40. Not had a Hilux for 33 years or more. Gladdens the heart to 21mpg towing 3150kg! Fresh out the box, that kind of mpg ain't bad!
  8. Lady Branson, wife of Richard Branson Jack Shepard, actor who played Wycliff, a tv detective programme.
  9. Away in a bit, towing the Ufkes. Doesn't feel as cold out but good to go! Be good y'all! Lay, Burp, Arty.
  10. 50 years between us of blood, sweat and tears! Adventures and escapades that would astound! Dirty washing done in house and such low levels of appreciation and reward and all because we loved the brand, the users and the dealers!
  11. I've sent a message through your website!
  12. Probably get issued with a gagging order if we started!
  13. Up and ready for the day. Bestvstart thinking what's happening for Xmas etc. Enjoy your hump day. Cor, Niche.
  14. Telegraph app was not working this morning. Got the tea and reading the news now. Be good today and return to your families! Bit, Err, Suite.

    Jokes???

There was a young girl from Coleorton Who had one long tit and a short 'un Together with that and a great hairy mat She could fart like a 750 Norton!
  16. Cold here. The office are sending me the web analytics for the last few months so I got a couple of days at the screen! Also contacting the previous show enquiries too. Think I got 7 shows this next year to get around too. Enjoy the start of the week safely! Tailors, Whiffed.
  17. I must admit to having been to matches at Cardiff, Murrayfield and Twickers and the atmosphere at all three has been epic! Ground level at Cardiff meant that you didn't see much and upper decks at Twickenham in the sunshine was good. The March from Murrayfield to town was also part of the experience!

    Jokes???

I prefer an indecent coffee maker myself, far more fun!
  19. Love the cafe unrequited love story! Not sure what I've got on but would like to watch the rugby! Bonus daughter doing a roast for 8 people later which is usually a good affair! Bauble, Land, Squeak.
  20. The cold air seems to have moved off to be replaced with rain. Going for Yorkshires finest. Jobs and domesticity with rugby on tv. She is to the local theatre tonight with sister and her mum, not my thing so will meet her the pub after possibly. Sue, Par, Fish, Shell.
  21. Spicy prawn stew?
  22. Try and find a NRV to fit before the filter to stop leak back, maybe strip the mechanical lift pump as it may have rubbish in a valve prevent a good suction/pump.
  23. Awake stupid early, hopefully back to sleep in a bit! Cold out but no snow. TFI FRIDAY! Seeing a couple of folk and got a big chipper on the back of the car. 14", 140hp, crane and hand feed, fully remote etc, just got to learn how it goes..... Then off up to hers, no doubt catching a few in the brewshed later too. Gym, Pansy.
  24. Anyone got an Evoque or other Land-rover product that has suspension position sensors? The missus' Evoque had a new wishbone fitted and the drop link to the sensor was bust. I got a new sensor but the drop link seems to be in need of adjustment (cheap kin imported shite) but the fixing the the wishbone is lost! Does it just press fit over a stud or is there a bush or just a bolt? What size thread in to the wishbone? M5, M6, M8?
  25. Off to Maidenhead to get my towed Jaguar 30/80 towed demo unit, now that is a chipper! Cold here and snow is not forecast! Wrap up and work hard safely please! Clinch, Haven.
