    Jokes???

"Look at the rear on that!"....
  7. Ken Tyrell was a tree bloke, as was John Surtess if my memory is correct? Keith Barrowcliff was an Uncle and he had a few Ruddington trucks and converted them to Cranes, tractor units and drugs. He died after an incident after trying to get under a rail bridge with the jib up. Some 30 years later, I brought it from the brambles in a yard unaware of the history then cut it up and took it to Makyntyres in Nottingham as scrap.
  8. Flails direct are across the Trent from me and had stock of the walk-about Aebi I used to have!

  10. Had a Matador back in the day. That was a good truck! Also had a couple of Bedford MK 4X4 trucks too! Left one at a mates yard when I finished and went to GreenMech. It was still visible on Google Earth 20 years later!
  11. HNY Team! Hope you all have a good one! Had a few in the pub and saw it in at home, feel quite fresh for saying that we were up late and had a little to drink! Enjoy you day! Bait, Oaf, Urn.
  12. Frosty here, just really got up. Tom has a visa application in for the USA, if he gets it, I'll sell up at Shepshed and Caz and I will live together! My only new years resolution! What's yours? Lie, Caver, Gin.
  13. I'm still in bed too! Feel pretty lousy. Off to Retford when I get my ass up! Due, Kit, Tout.
  14. My stick was £65! Tbh, the tv was a 30", 20 years old and the LG software was no longer supported.
  15. Morning Team, awake far too early and feel a cold coming on, bugger! Trip to Charmouth beach this morning then going northwards either to Shepshed or Retford later. Got to sort the old folk a more modern smart tv at some point as theirs will no longer download apps - YouTube and TNT has to come via a laptop..... Enjoy your days. Mints, Spies.
  16. Certainly a looker!
  17. 65 years on! Good family meal despite the circumstances! Found out some family stuff and even found a Facebook group for a plane that Dad crashed a few years after marriage!
  18. 65 years ago today, Mum and Dad walked down the aisle of St Anne's church in Sutton Bonington so we are out for Sunday lunch followed by watching Tigers v Exeter! We had planned on getting to the match but simpler to watch it on the box! Only 7 of us so should be cosy, but Mum will get agitated so the day will be 'different'. Enjoy the day whatever you are up to! Best of luck if it is competitive! Chess, Decks, Panda.
  19. Got the long drive from Retford down to Axminster today. Mum's dementia is getting worse so only staying until monday so is isn't anxious for too long. Out for dinner tomorrow as they been married for 65 years this weekend! Enjoy the twixtmas period! Stan, Dwell, Bach.

  24. I didn't ask tonight, just got a beer in any glass as it was so busy! I'm not a glass snob but would accept a new glass if that is what they have to use!
  25. I would worry if my saw was blowing out sparks like that! Unless it was a cutoff saw or a customs or pol8ce saw gaining entry.....
