  3. Have you over revved it! I had a couple in a Rover V8 once, same as you, no tell tale and chain hadn't slipped etc! Straighten it and lob it back together!
  4. What was the model of Echo that was a twin cylinder? I had two of those! Epic power but thirsty! Today I drove from Shepshed to Workington, down to Barrow in Furness, then to Uttoxeter and then to Retford! Over a grand this week and that happened easily!
  5. Up and away to new machine install! Thank God it is Friday! House does seem odd without Tom here....going to Caz's tonight so living out of a bag again! Toil, Let's, Eat.
  6. Having a desk day to go back through some enquiries etc. Shake few bushes to see what falls out and a2ay for a couple of days next week so planning that too. Sounds still out.... Be good and return home safe! Mirror, Culls.

  8. Got a machine delivery taking a machine from out of Irish stock, but the storm cancelled all of the ferries yesterday! Will head out that direction and see what happens. Be goodvand safe if you on clean ups! Punk, Chew, Asian.
  9. Soon after 02:00. Tom catching flight from Heathrow to JFK, then onwards to Atlanta. Collecting car from Mike Finnegan's rod shop then driving to Northern Florida to start the racing. I got a meeting with Ufkes after finishing the night in the car.... Be good, be safe! Par, Can, Ride..
  10. Suella Braverman dumped tories for the Farage circus! Lemmings leaping off a cliff?
  11. Toyota in for first service, unsettled by the booking in process and I think my request for loan car to get home has been ignored. Will be asking if the warranty stands if the Ford place in my town can do it, at least I can walk there and back. Peat, Terse, Cellars.
  12. Apparently, Marmite and Peanut butter is available again!?!
  13. Email the people who have films on YouTube etc?
  14. Other things that I find attractive in these "corkscrew" units, no noise to speak of, no dust blowing everywhere, no real risk zone other than right close and you've probably got the carrier already! The big ones might need big HP and big prime mover but everything is a compromise going forwards!
  15. My Partners ex had a second detached retina yesterday so we took him to Doncaster Royal Infirmary for emergency treatment. Horrible place. As per usual, they hadn't the right people available so he has to go to Sheffield today. His daughter and sister will do the job. Raining now. I'm feeling a little unsettled as Tom got an early flight out of Heathrow on tuesday which I'd said I help with and a meeting with the Ufkes people right after and I'll be knackered! Today, I hope to get a few little jobs done and rest up.... Picker, Numb, Brain, E Number.
  16. Feel a bit beery, on account of three pints in the pub then a bottle of wine and a late, salad supper. Now lying in bed watching YouTube videos of the stupid idiots following the Sovereign Citizen ideals. Weather decent here but have a look at the Lyme Regis webcam of The Cobb! Could sit in the pub/cafe and watch that for a bit! Penne, Trait.
  17. Passed by the management! Several times if they live by the Trent!
  18. Proof of Concept, Breŵshed in Retford. Brewed on site and £5.60
  19. Full strip down at that price? Sorry, but if have specific needs then please give them a clue. If you dont want oil and filter but there is a problem, let them spend your money sorting that rather than stuff that had been done. £65 ph is £195 for a three hour visual and physical check and change of service items which sounds good to me. My Hilux has done 10k miles in ten weeks and goes for a service on Monday, I will ask for a few things to be checked and will expect to pay more than the stated £384.....
  20. Another poor night's sleep, dont know why I keep waking up! Glad it is Friday! She off out wither her mum, so will try to get to the brewshed on my own and then watch the rugby! Be good and return to your families in a happy state! Fur, Degree.

  23. Tom away next week to race his drag car in Florida. He has to drive it there first and just sent this picture of a snow bomb weather storm to hit America. The car is stores on the edge of the red bit and got to drive through that on semi slicks, race diff, no heater or demister and no wipers and big hp up front! That will be an adventure!
  24. Heck, going through some sleep traumas. Another night of tossing and turning but awake again early but doubt I will get another hour. In Loch Lomond at a hotel and loads to do but not enough hours in the day! Be good y'all! Meet, Arson.
