  1. Two or three john, one was crushed with a team of winched up logs though.
  2. http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/chainsaws/68761-husq-365-x-torq-modding-3.html @ page 2 is a pic of rovers work on the restrictor fins
  3. There are transfer covers on the side of the strato engine these just need the finn restrictors removing...every thing in the strato versions unlike the 365/372 normally aspirated two stroke is identical they just restricted the saw with the transfer cover.
  4. Personally would not call the 560 or 550 blocking down saws, I may have got the original post wrong but to me a blocking down saw is a saw with torque around 70cc capable of a bar of 20-24" , stihls In this category are the 441 or 461 and they cost a lot more than £600 although the 560 is more than capable of working on a 18" bar its more than £600 and a little to highly strung to ring up large timber all day long.
  5. Try one jonny I think you will be impressed. I've hammered one on a recent dead elm clearance with bramble and elder thrown in and it handled it all on par with a 190
  6. The lucky launcher ... It's good fun but not as good as the big shot in terms of accuracy and the shot distance varies massively despite the cartridge colours supposed to determine distance as Darrin says the big shot is better. Tree kits launcher looks good in the videos I've seen though but again I recon it won't be as consistent as the big shot from my brief experience with propelled launchers.
  7. You can pick up a husky 365 for under £600, your not going to get any other 70cc saw worth buying for under £600 I recons !
  8. Spot on...especially liking the piece rate !!
  9. I've found with reductions as long as there is no pressure to get it done in stupid time they are usually the climbs I enjoy.
  10. Great work Adam ,really nicely done.
  11. Used to pay £100 a month and give the farmer all my soft wood, winning deal!
  12. My newer hardly used 560 has snapped its throttle cable is this an easy repair or do you have to take the saw to bits? Just weighing up doing it myself or trying to get it done under warranty.
  13. Nice tractor jimmay looks tidy get some pics of it in use. How do you find the winch?
  14. That AV spring looks remarkably straight stubby ? How long did that last?
  15. Same as , you can have them both in mark, I'll try and get you a close up tomorrow.
  16. I have brought sections in the past after accidents .. Not the cheapest fix though.
  17. It's going well pete, I'm still going to this saw over the other 560.... And it has not seized yet despite its over fuelling read out.
  18. Sorry to hear this ,All the best in recovering as fast as possible.
  19. Can't believe that bench is intact as well ! I've broken every wooden fence I've looked at this week. Dying Oak pollard/mutilation/monolith from wenesday morning . Job spec was cut and leave and don't mind the fences
  20. It's probably my least liked pro saw of all time ,never had a positive experience with using one unless it was by the chipper, I even prefer the 261 over the 260 but it has a big following so most folks can't be wrong
  21. Industrious bugger wasn't he !
  22. Nice work , pretty sure I saw those dumpy bag pics on the net some were and was wondering how you got them up there!
  23. Good work and nicely put together Sam.
  24. I trust my petzl foot tape
