  1. Dentistry had the second highest suicide rate after farmers. I wouldn't fancy it for a career. My dad was a dentist. He once had an old dear apologise about her breath, she had just been sucking on a fishermans friend. Made me laugh.
  2. A groundy should be like a song bird on a bird table, always looking for danger from above.
  3. When I started I did all my climbing with a 254 for the first 18 months. 200t is king in the tree though.
  4. Only ever read about them in my old old shooting books. Cool looking birds.
  5. Do all you aspen fuel users use bio chain oil as well?
  6. Canary Row is my all time fave. Never got round to reading grapes of wrath.
  7. That's what I used to read on my lunch breaks when subbing for you. Great trash reading.

  16. Do you reckon you could make it pay? Even at £18k? You can get sam with his valmet, winch and timber trailer for £250 a day. None of the running costs or the hassle. I know what I'd rather do.
  17. I keep busy by being good at what I do, I can give you numbers for lots of companies that are cheaper than me though. People buy people, you have to sell yourself to customers. I regularly get work where I wasn't the cheapest. Network, make sure everyone knows what you do, when sending out invoices put in a handful of business cards.
