  1. my old one was a bit of a bodged job. the previous owner had cut the chassis off a tipper and bolted it to the chassis of the dropside. Its a bit agricultural but works. Im after a proper job with this one.
  2. I've got an arb body on my other dyna which I'll probably just swap over. If the price is right I'd look at tipper and body though.
  3. I nearly bought a cabstar with 18000 on the clock on Sunday. The dealer wouldn't budge on price and it had a flat battery so I couldn't test drive it after my 2 hour journey to see it!
  4. The truck has done less than 3000 miles and was the right price and in great condition. It'll be cheaper to get this converted than buy a tipper in the same condition.
  5. Cheers steve. If you speak to Will ask him if he is inerested in a cheap chip cage that'll fit his truck.
  6. Old truck will be going on eBay hodge. Basingstoke might be a bit far, thanks for the offer though.
  7. I've just bought a Toyota Dyna drop side pick up. Im wanting to get it converted to a tipper. Does any one know of any companys in the north west that do a decent job?
  8. Check your diary mate, I did the 20th and 25th of January this year and made you a fortune!!!!
  9. I've taken 2 loads to my local florists, I'll get a couple of wreaths and a few bunches of flowers off her for it. She takes spiky aswell as smooth.
  10. Bet your glad you have a transit instead of an l200 now.
  11. Snowing in Bentham, not much mind.
  12. 2 cherrys on a site last week were flowering!!
  13. I've got a Toyota dyna which is pretty much the same as a cabstar an the snow didn't stop me once last year.
  14. Great saw for first thinnings but for arb work I still think 361 is better.
  15. I wouldn't bother with a saw that size and get an ms361

    Mice!!

Get a few cats down the yard hodge. Put a bit of food down for them and they'll sort out mice and rats.
  19. I take my lab and border terrier pretty much every day. I live up north and we don't get hot days. They both stay in the van until brew time and dinner.
  20. According to National Access and Rescue Center who are LOLER inspectors and LOLER trainer Lifetime of Product Related to textile products, not usually metalwork. Usually a maximum of 5 years from first use of product. Storage may be up to 5 years prior to use. Store in cool dry, dark place away from contamination and damage. Check with product user instructions for details. Hope that helps you out. You should keep all your equipment manuals so you can check up on them.
  21. What are you using them for? hardly any of my gear lasts to its maximum life anyway. Glad im not the only person that reads and keeps the bumpf.
  22. the 5 year lifespan is normally a maximum for fabric items, ie slings and rope. ( although alot of manufacturers are now saying a maximum life of 10 years from manufacturing date) Metal items can be as long as they are in safe usable condition or as manufacturers stated guidelines.
  23. Hodge I really didnt want that mental image. ;-)
  24. Dynas rule. That's a smart looking truck mate
