  1. Pics of the lime are on general tree pics. I'll get some pics of the chipper tomorrow.
  2. Haha not sure what the prices were. They had 2 days on the Lime and they were going to do the conifers today. Steves a top lad he deserved his post work peroni even if he did burn my hands on one limb before I put the Hobbs on.
  3. Would you want a cheap version though? It's like Stella, reassuringly expensive.
  4. A few pic from yesterday. Monkey Steve and I got called in to take a Lime down for a local company. Plenty of epi low down so I let steve climb . All chip was to stay on site and timber is being shifted with a timber trailer on monday so left in length. No before pics and no action shots because one lad didn't turn in:thumbdown:. The tree was stipped out by 12 so after dinner we pulled the butt over with the winch on the chipper. Then a quick bit of precision felling and a tidy up.

    Stone roses

I was supposed to be there tonight with my mates but booked a job in by mistake. Absolutely gutted. A few of my mates went last night and tonight.
  6. My new spline an anvils are going in tomorrow. Getting graham Fawcett to fit them while steve and I go and do a big Lime with one of his chippers. I'll try and get a decent pic of that chipper this time.
  7. Obviously not in a rush then mate? That could be months off!
  8. Not a bad day to be inside working on machinery. Are you changing bearings while your in there? My bottom feed roller went yesterday should be sorted tomorrow though.
  9. My lads only 15 months old, when he's a bit older this'll be us.
  10. I don't know if this has been posted already. Always sad especially with a young lad Boy band member who performed at Royal Wedding party in Kate's village was killed by a 25ft tree he felled on Olympic training ground | Mail Online
  11. My border terrier is with tesco pet insurance. They paid out with no hassle and very easy to deal with.
  12. My guess is a Labrador X Spaniel Beautiful looking puppy.
  13. At 3 days your charging between £100 and £122 per man day with all that waste to cart away????
  14. I had a quick check earlier and I think it's 24 clicks per rotation. It's a beautiful sound hearing the slack being taken in.
  15. For some reason in north Yorkshire fox are put on separately to vermin according to my FAO, a great excuse to get a centre fire though. The up side Is they issue open licences as standard.
  16. A lot were too small to eat, a few had mixxy and a couple were badly shot. Got about 8 nice ones which I've put through the mincer. I'm going to make some Thai green rabbit burgers and some bunny sausages.
  17. What make is that? Looks good. Here is most of yesterday's bag.
  18. I'm gonna make thousands of rabbit skin coats with it now.
  19. Just my .22 lr aiming about 18 inch high. It was a lucky shot to be honest. Had a few at about 120yds before. I've got a slot for a .17hmr, I'll treat myself some point. .22 and .17hmr can be issued for use on fox by some issuing forces. My mate had my .22 before I got it and had fox on his ticket, I bought it and shoot the same ground with the same ammo but can't shoot fox. I'd rather something with a bit more stopping power for a fox tbh.
  20. I'll check mine tomorrow and post back if you like.
  21. What gun will you be taking? Had a few hours out today with monkeysteve. Ended the day with 22 rabbits, 2 pigeons and a jackdaw. Shot of the day was a 140 yard rabbit.
  22. Vermin shooting, clay shooting and on a couple of pheasant and duck syndicates. Apart from just hanging out with my son and my 3 dogs.
  23. My groundy/brother is down there already. He set off at 5 this morning to get a good camping pitch. Oh to be young and have spare time. I'd love to see tenacious D.
  24. Depends where we are working. We normally set off between 7:15 and 7:45. We sometimes don't start a saw until 9am though.
  25. Finally got my truck signs done, not finished yet but its a start.
