  1. I've been using an FSI ST20B today, awesome little grinder. 2 of us managed to lift it up steps to get to the stump, the turntable is great.
  2. Do you mind me asking how much the grab was? And how much the grab weighs?
  3. Give kanga a ring and they will come and give you a demo on site then you can see what it will lift and how high.
  4. It's a kanga, I can't remember what I paid but it saves a lot of time and wages. The grab is great for shifting logs and brash. The first job I had it on was a well trimmed 20' hedge to come out. It was all matted together so we just cut bits out tied them to the kanga and dragged them all straight to the chipper. In 2 days none of us dragged any brash or picked up any logs. Ring Stuart at Kanga UK, he's really helpful - even returns your calls and emails unlike others. His number is 07876 541531
  5. That's how it should be though.
  6. It should lift in to a transit but probably won't tip much on the bucket. I think list price with grab bucket, standard bucket, towing attachment is maybe £10-12k
  7. Stuart at kanga can't do enough. He was great before I bought it and has been very helpful since.
  8. Yeah it's a tk216. I tried for a boxer but gave up after they didn't return calls or emails I'm still waiting to hear back from them 9 months on. Avant wanted to sell me a machine that wouldn't fit in my truck. Kanga were great to deal with. Get them to bring a machine out for a demo or if you're ever near Lancaster come and look at mine.
  9. A few pictures of my mini, it's only a baby compared to most on here but it saves my back and lifts and shifts far more than I can.
  10. Can't you just put your spikes on above the where you're going to pollard it?
  11. I'll ask the lad tomorrow and send you his number if he's going to sell.
  12. I might know of a 550 for sale if you're after one.
  13. Have you spoken to myerscough or newton rigg?
  14. Do you have a saw to put on an Alaskan? I have a mill you can borrow.
  15. I've just got a 2013 Hs85 I love it. One of my subbies is getting one after using it.
  16. A few pic from a couple of weeks ago. This Beech had honey fungus and Meripilus. Steve Walker came and climbed for me, and did a sterling job. . All timber was disced up and left on site for the customer to split. The stem was left at gutter height. We'll be back to take that down once he has room for some more firewood.
  17. Those Beech logs are where I was trying to roll the Valmet as well.
  18. I'd be having a word with the lad that did your website as well!
  19. He has good pictures of other peoples work on his website. Me climbing, hodges Valmet and chipper. 👎
  20. Third eye moderators are good, I've got one on my .243. http://www.thirdeyetactical.com/thirdeye_website4_021.htm
  21. I've got a single wheeler. It carries weight really well, has plenty of power and has never missed a beat. The turning circle is amazing. They are naff off road like most 2 wheel drive trucks, I've put bigger AT tyres on mine, I think they're 235/60/15s and they've helped.
  22. Cut and climb jackets are worth every penny
  23. My brother in law has a few of the vws and is having loads of troubles with the clutches, so much so he's thinking about changing his whole fleet away from VW.
  24. I've got an old rbl500. I'm happy enough with it, it's far better than the hand held stihl I have and was dirt cheap.
  25. It's not £10 less tax you pay, it's the tax on £10 profit you don't pay mate.
