  3. If you're going over 7.5t you may as well get a crane at the same time. In which case I wouldn't go for anything under 12t.

  11. A few pictures from today's job. Steve Walker climbed yesterday leaving just a bit of timber to get down today. It was definitely a day to bring in some machinery for the big wood. I

  14. I've got a swing lift on an 8x5 ifor. It was set up like this when I got it. It's got 4 bolsters which go on the inside of the dropsides. I barely use it though.
  15. I rang and emailed boxer for about 3 months, left messages and have still never heard back from them 18 months later. With that sort of customer care I wouldn't care if they were there or not.

  21. There was 3 Beech, 6 Birch and 1 Oak as well. It soon adds up.
  22. I looked at those in July Hodge. You did well to get a felling licence so quickly, they can take ages.
  23. Yesterday we took down a dead redwood. Started just before 9am, in the pub for 4:30pm with all the woodchip and logs shifted off site. Monkey Steve was climbing and I was on the lowering and shifting timber with the kanga.
  24. I don't do them any more, Andy Hancock at Bergen Tree Services does. He's in Holme.
  25. I dead wooded the Limes at Holker Hall years ago. I was subbing for a bloke who told me to "just spike up them" I didn't, I had the big shot with me.
