  1. Agree with you there. If you have decent money on a job you won't get stressed because you can work round all the annoying little things that crop up. Work with decent lads instead of cheap unskilled labour, they will reduce stress levels. Learn to read customers, if they are a pain when you look at the job expect them to be worse when you do it.

  5. I've driven past the depo at Lancaster so many times and always wondered who owns that. My grandad was in haulage years ago but got shafted by an insurance company after a flood in Carlisle.

  7. Ive got a Toyota dyna tipper. It's not perfect but carries weight well and is narrow enough to get down drives.

    I had an l200 tipper. They are great work horses, brilliant off road and very reliable.
  11. I'd be up for this of I wasn't so busy. Try monkey steve, top climber.
  12. If it works and makes you money rob it'll do. Once you get a tipper there is no going back though.
  13. I always think you can tell the what back ground people have come from by their bar sizes, forestry lads always use smaller bars.
  14. I used to run 254s on 13" no bigger. I don't understand why any one would want to put a big bar on a small saw.

  19. we left it above where the other limbs had snapped off, good for the wildlife and the lad we were working for didnt fancy carting it up the bank.

  24. My border is very noisy but soft. Let's me know when any one comes near the house or truck though.
