  3. the problem is rob, is that you fancy a disco, this ones popped up and seems affordable albeit with a bit of work needed i made the a mistake a few years back on a chipper, i was to keen, and really wanted it and it cost me 2k which i never got back. now this situation isnt identical but i wanted that chipper as much as you fancy that disco save the cash or put it towards a chipper

  6. thanks mate. i wore chainsaw boots for the first time in 2 years for my assesment, theyve gone back in the cupboard till my re assesment. i never got the software from quentin, to many beers on saturday night to have a serious conversation on saturday.

  11. looking through some old quotes this evening, got me to thinking what % of accepted quotes you are happy with/aim for over the last 3 months ive had an acceptance rate of roughly 74%, im pretty pleased with that and im not sure i could handle much more without being booked 3-4 months in advance or running 2 teams

  13. i like having the ability to do stumps if needed, bigger stumps go to stump busters as i find large stumps are a pain to do and are incredibly mundane plus i cant get near stump busters on price (£2+Vat per inch) i own 3 grinders and my biggest (carlton 2500-04) will be going up for sale soon as i havnt used it since the first week of january
  14. interesting i charged the battery up and the clutch/cutter head engaged. i was wondering if low power would struggle to engage the clutch

  18. hmmm morning at the yard needed i think. who did you use for parts johny?
  19. that could be the case.... but the cutter head isnt engaging at all. do you think if the battery was flat that would cause the clutch to not engage properly? as we had to jump start the machine to get it running

  21. Gorilla tub when moving fro Lock box to truck, and truck to tree. Tub then doubles as rope storage whilst in use
  22. im not implying anything, im stating that it seems ok in the video its used in various configurations, at a variety of angles and seems to function pretty well
