  2. The new stein cube is much better than the old one, but I have a falteimer that is far older and still going strong
  3. I don't throw with gloves on and have never burnt my fingers. Got a bigshot in the truck and it's rarely used

  5. its funny you say that, the latest one suffering has had a multi million pound lifeboat training staion built within its RPA. theres a couple of others within the site that have patches of bark necrosis but showing good wound wood development on the edges
  6. no, it terminated at the point at the top of the picture below a tertiary branch so i ddnt take a photo any higher there seems to be a fair bit of of Armillaria throughout the site, we removed a 40 inch Sweet chestnut last year that had succumed and theres another of a similar size that is suffering.

I bought my first 020 off the guy I was working for, saved and bought a pick up truck and did small jobs, bought my first basic rigging kit So I could actually do a job I'd quoted for that I knew would need rigging. Subbed guys in with bigger trucks and chippers until I could afford to talk to the bank about a small loan to buy a chipper and so on It depends how much you want it really, it's easy to go out and borrow money, but how do you even know your cut out for it?

  12. My Carlton 900 is awesome for those hard to get to stumps. Thesmall Carlton is in no way comparable to these small grinders
  13. years ago i hired one from a travis perkins, it was completely useless and i had to hire another machine from another company to get the job done

    usually a couple or 3 cans of cider, though the misses has just opened a bottle of red to make some gravy so i might have a glass of that as well tonight
