    Call out this morning to a big Oak that had lost a large stem. the tree has lost several large limbs over the last couple of years has a nice dryadeus colonization and is showing signs of becomming a fine veteran. the tree is adjacent to an all weather sports area at a large private school so staff were suitably concerned (although i recommeded the tree was reduced 8 months ago in a tree survey:sneaky2:) 1.5hrs climbing and a bit of rigging on the back side over the sports area found a bees nest in the section that had failed, so a sweet treat was had

    having had a timberwolf for the last 3 years, and having just bought a quadchip id say the quadchip is far superior. it feels like a machine bigger than 6 inches and is rediculously easy to maintain. i put 2 sets of bearings in my timberwolf in 3 years. nuff said

    3 days at the apf next week and a busy diary meant that I couldn't attend. I would like to have gone and have attended several AA events over the last 12 months or so, but sometimes it's just not possible

    bunch the rope gently to loosen the fibles, use a pick to part the cover strands, use your pick to feel underneath the core and kinda lever it out making sure you extract the core intact

    yeah 10mm beeline, great combo with poison ivy, infact its probably my favorite cord at the moment. there has been some talk at MBs and on the buzz about the 10mm herniating but we will see. Ill be interested to see if its to stiff but ill give it a try and maybe reduce the measurements down a bit and see if it makes a difference

    depends on the jobs pristine garden with a nice lawn loads of stuff to drag out can wait till another day, the last thing you want to do is leave a nice track up someones lawn. same with big tree and small % reductions, il try and do them in the dry. mainly for my own enjoyment as much as anything. climbed in all weathers as a subby but know its my show i like to have the option
