  1. Lee, the saw will have plenty enough power, just watch for how badly tangled the blacthorn is. If its too thick, you will end up having to mulch it with the clearing saw
  2. Thats the one I was telling you on the phone about Pete, the ash that popped its hinge. The heartwood was solid, but very brittle. Luckily, I had two winches on it from the County, as it had a severe back lean.
  3. I refuse to work in the rain. Done too many years of that, I dont need to prove anything anymore.
  4. What was the user name of the person who sent it?

  15. And they are perfectly set up to do so -masses of land and barns for storage and processing, ususally lots of contacts through tha old farmers network, Single payment scheme subsidy's, guarenteed finance facility through the banks... It makes me sick.
  16. I have 357's and 372's, no running problems. I am really disapointed with the build quality on the 357, and it does seem underpowered.
  17. Welcome to Arbtalk Mark. Great website you have there - I love the old grey fergie's. looks like youve got a good handle on the hard work bit, to go further you'll need your basic chainsaw ticket. after that, its a matter of phoning round your local company's, see if anyone needs some part time help.

Thats cos you sell them Iain... LOL I however dont sell them and can totaly endorse them as a superb product. I have bought 10 -12 pairs for myself and staff, very comfortable and extremly hard wearing. They have outlasted both pfanner and stihl pants with my guys.
  19. I think it was perfectly safe. Good work. I've had a lot of experience with those big genie's, it takes an enormous load to tip them.

Install an unnecessary cable between two more butties.
  21. Sums up my feelings on Farmers perfectly. WHat other industry gets that kind of subsidy, let alone paid to do nothing!
  22. Your right lee, an 80 tonne sheet piling rig would be about that price. but the one in the picture only looks to be a 40 tonner at most, and
  23. Or rare breed Pigs/sheep. In fact, you'd get permission to build your own property if you were running a tree nursery.
  24. If anything, the reverse is true. Like I said, Chiropracticy is a narrow field of oesteopathy.
  25. Someone was pulling your leg....
