  1. 300ft of 6mm cable
  2. I have an Austrian Koler winch for sale, chainsaw powered and carries 300ft of cable.
  3. I left my little two with the grandparents:proud: I'm about an hour south of geneva, in the Grand Massif skiing area. 275km of beautifull piste action, a snug little french hotel, in a village called Samoens, that just happens to have won multi awards for being the prettiest in France:proud::wave:
  4. Picolo winch?
  5. Mr Ed

    big saws

Having used both, I can honestly say there is little to choose between either. Both have equal power and weight, it comes down purely to personal preference. I would choose the Husqy myself, especially with it being cheaper.
  6. I have 181's with both plastic and steel chainbrake. May even have a spare, I'll check whenn I get back. I do know that 288 parts will fit.
  7. Sun Shining its little socks off here, 3 inches of powder dropped last night, but reckon I'll be skiing in a Tshirt today....
  8. I've gone over to the sthil Combi cans as I got sick of the Husky ones falling over.
  9. Who cares. I'm skiing in the Alps, much more fun. Enjoy the wind fellas
  10. I like that one too. small tip but neat.
  11. Xerxes, yoru comments come accros as smart alec. I'm sure if Mike says he needed that Bar, I'd trust him. We all have our own little ways, lets show some respect instead of casting aspertions about penis size. Nice work Mike.
  12. Blimey. some right trash being posted here. Nice tune pete, theivery are cool as a very cold thing.
  13. Steve, Either your missus has put you in a boil wash recently, or that's one great big tree.
  14. Dunno about Hiab, but if you want anything topped, I'm your man
  15. Ha. Well, some years back I managed to drive a county forwarder up so steep a bank it looped the loop completly with me inside. Came to rest on its arse end facing upwards, the battery escaped its underbonnet prison on a mad glass killing spree, flying through the windscreen and escaping out the side window, via my head, where it managed to deposit half a pound of ground glass in my scalp. Pulled the bugger upright with a digger and carried on...
  16. Great to see you out doing this Lee. As someone said, great to see true treecare, rather than just cutting. Hope this side of the biz continues to grow...
  17. Max, I did not mean to criticise, as I can tell you have done an excellent job. I just find I'm leaning more toward Pollarding as time goes by as a way of managing those types of trees.
  18. Jeez. Looks like the tree lost 75% of its crown / leaf area. You did a very tidy job, but why thin it so hard?
  19. Cool huh? Mr Scruff is the coolest. have another... [ame]http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=MS_CLIF1h-o[/ame]
  20. Very few tree services will run a big chipper. its mostly a few landclearing guys who run the big chippers. Cool paint scheme Iain.
  21. Here's one especially for you Leon - [ame]http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=vmOArLdg9d4&feature=related[/ame]
  22. No wallenstien over here. Compared to european machines they are very agricultural.
  23. Its a guy I found on the internet, specialises in susuki racing bikes, but has doen a fair few chainsaws. A muffler mod makes a big bifference. You can feel the saw has more torque and power.
  24. Sorry should have said. My exhausts are ported (opened up) and the carbs tuned to suit. The real 'ports' on the saw are untouched, although I have 2 346's here due to go to a 2 stroke racing expert for true porting
  25. Oi loike your accents... Great job.
