  6. You will need to take the carb off and the handle that's attached to the body of the saw, prize off the fitted plastic that holds the rubber manifold onto the inlet of the cylinder, carefully un-attach the earth and live wire that connects to the switch mechanism inside the handle, pull the handle away then pull the split rubber manifold out, squeeze the new rubber through the aperture of the handle making sure the hole in the side of the rubber matches up than re-attach the handle making sure that the fitted plastic is over the rubber first, this is then used to squeeze down the rubber onto the inlet manifold of the saw, make sure it fits flush. Care is needed if you have to dismantle the handle to re-attach the wires, ALWAYS take the orange on/off switch off first before undoing any other screws in the handle if you don't the switch mechanism will fly off all over the place. The other way is to take the carb off, un-attach the fitted plastic that holds the rubber in place, remove the split rubber, attach new rubber making sure it fits flush then feed some wire through the back of the handle, loop it around the new rubber boot and pull it out through the back of the handle, re-attach carb.
  7. It must cost a fortune to train pigs to fly a helicopter? I am outraged that taxpayers have to pay for the pigs flight training only to have them shot down by SAM missiles, I suppose we the tax payers have to pay for the missiles as well????
  8. It may be useful if you ever got your truck stuck.
  9. I believe the German guy on Nods splicing workshop that I attended was taught to splice by one of Samsons top splicers?

You need to speak to Mike Hill on here.
  12. Yeah thanks, I posted from my IPhone and the link worked fine, not on the laptop though.
  13. I have not seen this before, borrowed from some one from somewhere else. YouTube
  14. I have to agree with Steve. Chiropractors are hacks, well obviously not all of them but they bring to mind this Simpsons video, The Simpsons Chiropractic Episode | Facebook Of course, I'm a little jaded after walking into a Chiropractor and not being able to walk out and also having to have over a year off tree work and constant pain ever since. Did I mention that I'm not fond of them?
  15. Mog, I think he said non locking brummells but it is a good question, something that splicers seem to keep to themselves.
  16. Gripping a single line is not doing my arms any good.
  17. I just SRT for access now.
  18. Cool kids! You made them a potato gun yet?
  19. Yeah what ever, I've been running modded 020ts for years with no problems, exhaust mod and polished inlet and outlet ports is all I bother with.
  20. Bosh have always been reliable, which is why I use them.
  21. A friend gave me a 2004 044 to look at as it would run fine and then stall, I took a look at the diaphragms and they were pretty stiff, (saw had been shelved fueled) I called up my local dealer to buy the new diaphragms and it turns out the saw has a USA spec Walboro carb on it, which is a little unusual but anyway, replaced the diaphragms and it was the same, just thought I would swap the NGK plug and it solved the problem immediately. I always use Bosh plugs on my saws.
  22. Bah! My eyes!
  23. 12.5mm, I see where your going Pete!
  24. Oh yeah, sorry, my bad, I was thinking of something else.
  25. I agree, the trimmers are very good.
