  1. I had a go with one of those Gransfor Bucks carving axes, get one of those.
  2. No, Blaze is 24 strand double braid rope.
  3. Oh yeah sorry for some reason I thought they had a sudden merger.
  4. Sorry, do Bartletts own Glendales or is it the other way round?
  5. Just take your time, one strand at a time, milk the cover back to the end as you remove the inner strands.
  6. High Scale

Oh that Husky rips Reg! Is the timing advanced on the Stihl?
  7. Good stuff mio amico, grande lavoro e ciò che una posizione straordinaria! Grazie per la pubblicazione! Mi scusi per la traduzione di Google.
  8. It's a piece of rubber inner tube, it's not set up properly in that picture. Gordon is sending me a new smaller roller as my favored rope, Tachyon, seemed to be a little fat for the device to work properly, too much friction. On the ZK1 I have the bottom pin set wide and that works very well and smoothly so I'm hoping the new roller will improve things, it's a nicely made device and I'm looking forward to having a proper climb on it.
  9. I will let you know.
  10. Well I have one to try.
  11. I don't see the need for one myself, but if it works why not.
  12. In 1783 years time it will be found and they will wonder.
  13. He has, gotta start bidding innit?
  14. Well that's a good reason, I purchased the new RW because I lost the original RW1. Some kid has probably found your ZK1 and is wondering what the hell it's for, unless he's googled it.
  15. Good question Ewan, why would a ZK1 owner want to buy the new RW? Is there such a thing as a independent review?
  16. Nice!
  17. That's true, don't do it! I have contacted H+S in the past about riding the ball, you can do it if the crane company agrees and that your RA is adequate. But don't do it. Just don't. Stay at home and get the boss to do it.
  18. Everything's bigger over there.
  19. Oh and when it comes to the crane job day ride the ball of the crane to the top.
  20. If you can rig the branches out first leaving the trunk for the crane it makes things much easier, sounds like a great job for your first time with a crane.
  21. I agree with Mctree.
  22. To late Mark, I have photo shopped a picture of you in Speedos and flip flops section felling a Leylandaii and sent it to the relevant non producers, expect a ugly call in the morning and prepare yourself for zip ties and a stiff interrogation. If your wondering about the picture, I took it from my private collection.
  23. I wore shorts climbing in Oz.
  24. I already have Peter!
