  1. So it should be his puter then.
  2. Using Iphone on WIFI Rich? Have you tried switching the modem off then back on? Sounds daft but can solve some slow down problems. Download CCleaner - PC Optimization and Cleaning - Free Download Run the various options including registry cleaner.
  3. Norton false positive, fiver on it.
  4. Webbing, back pad.
  5. This thieving is getting ridiculous.
  6. And this. TREE CLIMBING
  7. Just browsing.
  8. As long as you have an invoice to cover the fact that you have paid the genuine labour only contractor then the rest is up to him/her, he/her is not an employee so their tax affairs are their business.
  9. Inverted base plate? Pic from Giorgio. New GRCS better get the welder out.
  10. NE Safety Blue, easier to stitch close to the eye.
  11. Little one.
  12. I lock stitch as close to the eye as I can but I'm a sadist and like the look of it. Regarding needles, send me your address via PM and I'll send you a couple to sample.
  13. I was for ever breaking the eyes off needles until I purchased some needles from Bristol Rope and twine, the needles they sell have a dark, hardened steel look about them rather than the chrome finish of my usual needles and seem to be a lot stronger.
  14. I got a full set from Landpower, pretty reasonable price I seem to remember.
  15. You look pretty young mate.
  16. Mattplace very nice, so is it ply with aluminium sheet, like a sandwich? What gauge sheet did you use and could you please tell me total material costs? PM if you want. Cheers!
  17. Be nice to see them in the UK.
  18. What's the carb model number?
  19. Is it a used rope? If so it's the only rope I gave up on splicing, Marlow, I don't think supply splicing instructions? I used the Samson 16 strand instructions but maybe should have taken out another strand or two or maybe not. Seriously I wouldn't bother if its used.
  20. Nice one Mick, not the easiest rope to start with, welcome to the dark art! Good man for showing him Rich!
  21. Yep, I do mine.
  22. If your going to worried about safety markings and warranty then buying from the states won't be for you, if you feel you may have an accident with an imported saw then tree work may not be for you either. Getting replacement parts? What would be so different between a saw for the American market and the European market except maybe emissions? The only thing wrong about importing saws from the states is announcing it on an open forum.

If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
