  1. I had the same harness Rupe, horrible! When I did a trail day in Oz they gave me a steel core strop to use, I took it off and hung it in the tree, cumbersome thing:) Three strand was hard to climb on but still makes a great natural crotch rigging rope.
  2. Who sells the Xrings? I was looking at Antals site and see no UK distributor.
  3. Nope, but they come across as sensible people with open minds, I'm sure they would love the feedback, safety being their ultimate interest.
  4. Petzl will probably shrug and say, be careful.
  5. Has anybody talked to Petzl?
  6. Joe, I am not using the recommended Beeline cord and I am using one less than the recommended wraps but it grabs every time. But don't do it.
  7. I don't think it will work with DB.
  8. Wide tall Holm Oak, perfect for the Hitch Hiker.

  10. I prefer the colour of Firefly though.
  11. One for Mr Bullman. New England Dragonfly Rope
  12. Pretty odd Anthropomorphic analogy Dave. :0
  13. I find I swap between both systems. So there.
  14. Your not a dad, keep your mouth shut.
  15. Clip your saw to the rope Mark.
  16. Hmm, I've not found that at all with that cord. PM your address and I'll send you some to try.
  17. Been using 6mm on a leisure/sports climb, works well and consistent unlike the supplied Beeline.
  18. Rather you than me! I would be a husk within minutes.
  19. Mental Avatar codz!
  20. Cheers Ben, just my photo not me climbing.
  21. Nobody does big trees in Blighty anymore, we are all busy flying keyboards:)
  22. ? Question Mark.
  23. I used to climb with no lanyard.
  24. Quality camera stuff.
  25. Drew, this type of thing happens all the time, sure it's annoying and venting off steam is understandable and also only natural but understand that you need to chill out a little, step back or even sit down, have a nice cup of tea and think about getting back to work for somebody else.

If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.
