  1. Do you work for a small or large outfit Rentachimp? Those wages remind me of a figure quoted by someone working for a massive national company.
  2. I'll disagree there. As consumers we pay for those thefts through inflated prices. I'd beg before I stole anything
  3. Sound like a bunch of ladies:)
  4. no problems
  5. Don't worry, I'm not at all offended. I don't think it's a bad thing that i dislike rascist comments:wave:
  6. Always try switching the engine on!
  7. nice hybrid. A little drilling of the exhaust, a re-tune and i bet it will kick ass
  8. Horrendous. My thoughts go out to those close to him
  9. I've had that quoted to me by several people. I does seem a little arbritary imo, it does not take into account canopy spread, species or site topography. Anyone know how and by who the formula was developed?
  10. How about a nice little ms170. Will fit nicely on your beergut I've no experience with the new saw, but trying to run a 260 with an 18in bar is folly. Imho it is too much for a 50cc saw
  11. Greenfly a problem? Just inhale and treat them as extra protein in your diet
  12. You tube has a few good examples of it's use. There is a video that is supplied with the unit by it's creator Greg Good that is very instructive
  13. Remember it's only one persons observation, but i would wait to see what the manufacturer have to say. There was a recall of certain ones and it might be one that was not returned. INHO it is a great krab, my personal favorite. It does teach us that observation and carefull kit maitenance are essential for our longevity
  14. Some interesting reading from treebuzz. http://www.treebuzz.com/forum/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=121952&an=0&page=0&gonew=1#UNREAD
  15. How did you find the geckos?
  16. I remember that from last year. You ask any of the local crane companies Ed?
  17. Bonnie has amazed me and the vet. She had a spinal stroke and has managed to recover over the weekend. Her left side is still a bit "lazy" but that should improve over time. At 14 1/2 she's a tough old bird for sure Thanks for your support and I'm still smiling so hard my face hurts
  18. I was given them whilst in Oz. I have no idea of there origins sorry
  19. They are a important tree in this country now imo, few deseases, structurally strong. They have filled the void left by the demise of the elms and to treat them as weeds is folly.
  20. If you justify heat issues as a reason for type "a" then why not change the job program to another task that is less likely to bring on these issues? Sorry just bing devils advocate
  21. I'm not 100% on this, but is seems as a employer or self employed individual you have the freedom of choice. However if you have staff you need to comform with best practice i.e. type c. I'm sure someone will have the details to the relevant regs somewhere
  22. A gent from the treehouse, called Burnham, taught me when in doubt to "always climb with your back to the wind". Hence reducing the force on the top. Good advice IMHO
  23. they do say love is blind!!!
  24. I would always recomend try before you buy with a harness. Is there a good arb suppliers near you?
