  2. I love the velcro straps, but thats a very intelligent modification Frans, I like it
  3. With the prevalance of Horese chesnut bleeding canker and other associated deseases (secondary and usually fatal infection of pseudomona) they might not be the best of species to plant in the UK at the moment Lee
  4. So your taste is gay. Better than camp I suppose !!! A little thievery corp to sooth my soul [ame] [/ame]
  5. Same as Ed, the tree seems to respond in a similar manor as the difference between large % of canopy removal and total is minimal to the tree
  6. Nice Steve, finished in time for tea n scones no doubt
  7. If you are using husky visor/muff combination sordin do at cat III ear defender
  8. Take nothing for granted about your hearing. I use these on my helmet. I'll never use the normal saw rated ones again http://www.peltor.se/int/Product.asp?PageNumber=154&ProductCategory_Id=55&Product_Id=66

  11. If you don't have a tacho to hand Bob how else do you do it?
  12. You had better have reset the carb! tacho or v good ear

  16. I retained it carl. It's work in process as i'm going to cut away some of the now excess metal
  17. Nice Crispy and welcome
  18. Not the best pics. Hole is only 14mm which is conservative. Be VERY carefull not to drill too deep or you will bore through the back which is less than desirable. Remember to reset the carb to richen the high jet, you should gain torque not rpm. If in doubt don't do it yourself, alot of money in a climbing saw so don't kill it!
  19. You drill the hole 90deg to the body of the saw. Hard to explain but your trying to bypass all the twists and turns in the system. Will try and get some pics so gimmie 5 mins before you trash a muffler
  20. Get rid of those stubs on a dismantle. They can hurt real bad if you slip
  21. I hand my saw to a guy called "rev it" and he sorts it out. As much as I know
  22. Cool idea, bacon brie and cranberry please
  23. 80% is what I aim for with mine. Seems to work well
  24. http://www.chainsawperformance.com/showthread.php?t=1658 With regards to Carls link follow EHP's percentages, he's the main man with regards to modding saws
