Nice truck, they are still very pricey over here. Never seen a decent one for less than about £7k

if your in the industry, it's not hard to guess. You tell me of a company that will not fell large tree because they don't have the ticket?

Same as, i usually charge so I can take my time, rushing just increases the risk factor. To put those pics in perspective the lime is well over 30in dbh, and the chesnut prob 40in min.

Back pressure for reliability? The engines are actully suppressed (to reduce emissions) increasing the temp in the piston and pot. On a serious note, it's not for everyone as they are loud

It's all down to money. If saws were made to the standards and build quality that we desire the cost would be prohibitive. As it was said ealier in real terms prices have come down. When stuff breaks I just pander my consumerist urges and buy a lovely shinny new one!!
