Mark, without respect, it is YOU that has a jaundiced view of (a) me and (b) reality - and here's where the irony kicks in, I suspect it is your former service that has clouded your judgement.

Struggle as I have to try and remain above to your petty, amateur psychoanalysis, I find myself always coming back to the basest of urges to smack you up bitch....

You re-enforce in me the reason the honours system should absolutely NOT exist.  Your queen, no doubt would be proud, you wanker.

I caught a bit of a radio program yesterday about the states that don't exclude concealed carry by staff. I don't think that it causes more problems, but then again it didn't go into if it prevented or reduced school shootings.

It's a tough one, on one hand I think it's a good idea but on the other hand it could cause more problems. I'm undecided and just playing devils advocate.

Yes, somethin I am glad not to be involved in!

It would be interesting to hear what the teachers thoughts about it are, I guess many of them dont want to become heros and would rather teacher students. Heros get a parade and a reef on their grave, cowards get to enjoy life for a bit longer, I know what I am and what I would do in that situation, it would be run, and not towards the attackerxD

I suppose you reap what you sow when you can allow people to walk down the high street with loaded assault rifles! Nothing wrong in owning or shooting guns IMO but the laws over there are a bit bonkers to say the least. I remember reading a report on people who carry guns, Nearly all have the gun at the highest level (whatever it is called I cant remember) but basically it is cocked, loaded and ready to fire, and those are supposedly normal civilians carrying guns on the streets where they can.

Making headline UK news is this riddle that is apparently 'breaking' the internet and haunting your dreams. http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcthree/article/2dbdaba5-e689-4863-9d82-5aa45ad15068
