Something ain't right. US biggest and best* carrier strike group in the Med close to Israel. Now the UK sending Warships.

Seems like there's more to this than meets the eye that we are in the dark about.

Maybe

But they were already in the Med anyhow and a carrier is a huge munitions resource if the Yids need more bombs and bullets parts etc.

Plus it's a warning to Iran not to get too rowdy.

Honestly the gulf states would welcome the Gaza strip getting turned into a giant car park.

That's the wrong way round for the BBC!

Have a read of this:

Buy Manufacturing Consent: The Political Economy of the Mass Media 1 by Herman, Edward S, Chomsky, Noam (ISBN: 8601404256905) from Amazon's Book Store. Everyday low...

The BBC are very much right-wing and pro Israel - Look what they did to Corbyn.

I wonder... there is a war starting up in one of the more unstable regions of the world, where the UK just happens to import 3/4 of its oil imports from. I wonder if that is related to anything.

Watch the news, there's a fairly decent sized war going on in the Middle East, right now.

Yeah that plus the £250 million he’s paid over the years. He might not be everyone’s cup of tea but he’s certainly contributed his share be it a fair amount or not 🤷‍♂️

I don't have any thoughts about B.E. one way or the other really . It was just that I saw he got fined and it was a chunk of money and wondered what they might do with it .

But UK is in a large debt and payments have increased

The rise in the cost of borrowing comes as chancellor, Jeremy Hunt prepares for the autumn statement.

Quote

A higher rate of interest on government debt will mean the chancellor will have to set aside more cash, to the tune of £23 billion to meet interest payments to the owners of bonds.

This means the government may choose to spend less money on public services like healthcare and schools at a time when workers in key industries are demanding pay rises to match the cost of living.
