Ha, though the Devon reference would flush you out. 🙂

How’s Sweden?

Haha! Couldn't resist.

Sweden is lovely. Very relaxed and it's nice to have so much more space, both in our home, but also in our surrounds. The kids are settling in fairly well - their language development is being slowed slightly by the fact that everyone speaks English!

Work is proving slow to get started, mainly as setting up a business takes some time here. Getting there though.

Cool.  Still awaiting the ‘Low impact forestry in Sweden’ thread!

Braverman is a breath of fresh air...a politician telling us how it is. Politicians rarely do this now for fear of losing votes, so issues that the government and MSM consider 'controversial' are avoided, covered up or shouted down using excuses it may be racist, inflammatory or inciteful. Just another example of the cover up and the never ending campaign to stifle the truth by the minority who shout the loudest.

'British Home Secretary Suella Braverman warned this week that the migrant crisis in the United Kingdom has reached the level of an "invasion," which drew both criticism and support from local politicians, with some calling for her resignation.

"The British people deserve to know which party is serious about stopping the invasion on our southern coast and which party is not," Braverman, a conservative, said this week. "Let’s stop pretending they are all refugees in distress, the whole country knows that is not true."

Braverman added that her country’s "hopelessly lax asylum system" is "broken."

Braverman’s comments drew harsh criticism from liberal politicians, including Kim Johnson, a lawmaker for the main opposition Labour Party, who said Braverman's language would inflame tensions amid the growing immigration crisis along the English Channel'

Think the term invasion usually denotes an army conqueoring the country?

There are several definitions, and yours is a very selective one of them.

Every had you home 'invaded' by a load of ants in the Summer?

Or your privacy invaded by a nosey neighbour?

See.....it can be used in many ways. The MSM and others used a particular definition this week to suit their agenda
