I'm not going to argue or debate points about an industry I've spent twenty years in with someone who cuts grass for a living and has spent "hundreds of hours" doing google searches it's utterly pointless. You may call that a personality flaw, in reality Mark Twain summed it up best;

"Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience."

And I can assure you I don't need any advice, career or personality-wise from someone who's reached the heady heights of Lawnmower Operator.

OK I get it, your an oil industry expert..

Might I beg your favour and ask you to indulge us with your analysis of Saudi oil production..

At ten million barrels a day, how long in your expert opinion can the Saudi's maintain this level of production?..

OK I'm now late to start my day, my nurse has wiped the dripping spittal from my mouth and is about to push me out the door, my carer will drive me to work were I will begin the menial task of cutting other peoples crass..

I don't know, its a terrible tragic life to be cutting grass when I could be working in the Oil Industry not knowing if I might have a job or not from one month to the next..

I was watching a few youtube clips of drilling rig operations, and accidents.

FFS!

Arduous unrelenting physically demanding work, in a confined space, with apparently, a high risk of getting mangled, maimed or killed.

I realize they do not show the periods spent standing about, while the fresh length of drill string is getting drilled in.

but nonetheless.

Drilling sucks, that's why I'd never do that. I supervise the installation of remotely operated tools and downhole gauges and top side commissioning. Easy money. :D

Thankfully I have a Norwegian Contract that's so well sewn up due to seniority and the unions I'm very very unlikely to ever lose my job. :)

Have fun with the Mower...
