What we're after is a solution. We want supervision for kit and the knowledge that someone will be there if unsavoury people come calling.

Advertise your yards and workshops as a local meeting spot for cottaging. Charge them 10 quid per car. No self respecting thief is going to want to stick around while that's going on and you'll be keeping politicians off the street and out of parks.

Win win.

Three local lads caught a scumbag nicking binoculars from thier car, tied him up and hooded him.they threatened to cut him up,all he could hear was them attempting to start a saw[with the off switch off]scared the shite out of him.

Boys got done for it,wrong judge, wrong day,all jailed

it was the right thing to do,but the price was too high.

What I always find staggering in this sort off case is that the thieving little **** bags go to the cops after!

I can accept that when you're a teen you can be a bit of a rascal and do stupid stuff. But if you're commiting crime after a certain age I think you should be jailed for life.

If I was the Prime Minister I would bring in life prison sentences for anyone over thirty that steals.

We have nowhere to house them, so you better have a good prison building plan.

The reason sentence time actually served is now a quarter to a fifth of what is passed down is because we simply don't have the prison space.

Chopping their hands off seems to be a very effective deterrent elsewhere, but of coarse it will be against their human rights here :(

I find the fact that you can be prosecuted for harming someone trying to get into your property if they get hurt on your security measures just weird.

Laws need changing to stop protecting the scumbags.
