Fings wot broke

Recommended Posts

Three of the helper leaf springs broken on my 18t grab lorry.

Had a go at doing this myself, but couldn't get the front bolt undone. Bob Aspenarb brought his 1" petrol driven impact gun around, but still wouldn't undo.

Arranged to go to his place with a new bolt to attack it

Job done

Cheers Bob!

Bob and his mate Mick Dundee sound like a couple of handy lads to have local to you.

No Mick Dundee there. He went on a walkabout...

But yes, very lucky to have those two local, and even luckier that they are willing to help. Big thanks to Bob for today.

Haha! Andy and Bob said they'd put me a toolset together with all the spare stuff they've got!

Glad you got the springs fixed so Bob and Mick fabrications can get back working on my chipper!

That's going to take a while to get back to working condition. Love the fact the whole team made time for a group photo before taking you to hospital, wouldn't see a football team care as much and some have even started the 3rd half earlier!
