Wouldn’t worry about welding an oil tank as long as your not doing long runs. Used to build canal boats and regularly had to go out to repairs. Never drained the Diesel tanks when welding and nothing’s ever blown up, just make sure it’s not a sealed container.
Anything flash flammable is a different story!

One of my crushers jaws failed in spectacular fashion, the lower shaft being nearly 50mm thick snapped, and one of  the ram lugs also sheared.

Luckily,mi have a new ram, jaw, shaft all in stock, so i should get it back up and on the hire fleet before too long

Though I’d give the knives some much needed love and after sitting a while had to get some dead dinos on the case.

Not broke but incredibly annoying, wire was a total pita to get untangled and hot the cluck that branch got wedged in there I don't know but it did not want to come out!

All about the cordless grinder if your off with a flail for the day!

I arrived at a site in Southampton with the Awhi and tracked to the piece of scrub I was clearing, I picked up 100ft of Matador cable within 5 yards. I doubt a cordless grinder  would have tackled that. I always carried a portapac of Oxy-acetylene and a small 2t genset and angle grinder just for such eventualities.
