Climbing in non-ppe with a silky is always fun, but the voice in your head telling you the physical graft involved just to please someone rich and ignorant whose house has been built in the wrong place isn’t.

 

 

I don't really see it like that; I was doing tree work because I enjoyed it and it was what I wanted to do at the time. I never did it as an employee, only ever on my own terms. I could pick and choose the jobs I wanted to do, so only ever did the jobs that would be appreciated. 

 

I knew at some point I'd have to grow up and do something else, but I enjoyed it whilst I was doing it.

DAF shite again! Shat it’s coolant at Carlisle coming south on way back to base, driver stopped at Penrith and put 7 litres of water in, stopped again at carlisle and added 5 litres, stopped at crooklands/lancaster added 5 litres, got it back home though [emoji106] diagnosed it to be split on n/s lower section of radiator! Stripped it down and found exhaust manifold cracked too so chuffing its black smog everywhere [emoji849]🥴 just waiting for bits now, parts are a nightmare to get hold of at min.....

I like Dafs, one i drove was faultss  [emoji53] 3 years n just cab jack seized. K

When you say you like daf’s i assume you are referring to the yellow headed things often found at the side of the road or footpaths that come back every year!
