As I mentioned earlier, we have been in a Graveyard for 4 days.  Pollarding 10 Crack willows.  The spec is purely based on safety and the trees will more than likely be removed in the next couple of years.  Hangars galore, big tear outs of limbs and deadwood throughout the canopy.

 

We had a 29m MEWP onsite, which made the job somewhat safer but there were still plenty of targets to avoid.  Gravestones and the small gardens mourners have around them.  

 

Today was a bitch.  Blowing a gale and pieces were going everywhere.  3-4 rows of graves away.  We managed to get everything down with only one piece of damage.  One of the repeater lights on the MEWP clipped a stone and broke the lense.

 

I didn't get a picture before but you can see the state of the last one we tackled today.  BTW, Pallets stacked up against the gravestones helped a lot.
