Out of interest, do you think people that use recreational drugs should be allowed to stay in employment in this industry if they are not on the tools? For example, a manager or tree surveyor?

 

 

Surely more reason not to, as you have to set an example, you cant expect people to do as there told if they see there bosses doing the opposite.

 

As for staying in employment or the industry I would suggest its done on a case by case. I know of people in other lines of work who got caught and there service record was taken into account. And if they were thought to be genuinely a hard good worker then they were given time of to get themselves sorted out, ie get help not have a jolly.

Maybe a tpo officer could be. Would be real easy to get permission to fell a few trees. :biggrin:
