With a 2" its not much louder than an air rifle . With a 3" its a bit louder . Take the moderator off and its as loud as a 12 bore .  Its not so much of a bang as a loud sorta TING if you no what I mean .

Cheers Stubby, yep I get what ur saying, sounds like just the tool around the yard[emoji106]

I remember when I first got it I was not hitting things cleanly . So set up a pattern plate and found I was getting a cigar shaped pattern at a sort of 45 degree angle . On removing the moderator and looking down the barrel I could see that the muzzle brakes were all drilled from one side leaving internal burrs on the inside , and one side only , of the barrel . Careful work with a fine round file removed these and the pattern rounded up . I think it is bored  full or three quarters .

The rig I’m on gave me a blanket. :/ it’s a £130 Alpaca blanket right enough. But still. IMG_0106.jpg

Pizza paddle for the oven I’m building this spring.

And it sounds v.dull but also some cash, which I’m going to buy either a flip saw or a sliding mitre saw with.

a flip saw

A flip saw is handy for small joinery  .. but a sliding mitre is needed for construction timbers, I'd say that as a general tool a 305mm sliding mitre combined with the best table saw you can afford would be a good combination, I have some Metabo mid priced stuff that I'm not disappointed with from a non professional point of view.
